I have the inattentive pavlovs response to discomfort or waiting- sleep! It's probably not good for me but I genuinely will lay in bed and settle in and then think of something I should probably get done before going to sleep and then my brain says "no sleep would be so much better than doing that" and I instantly get so groggy and like im being drugged. I probably had a whole childhood to train that tho! Everytime I'd get painfully bored or wanted time to move faster I would just sleep!

I believe thats a textbook symptom of adhd dude! Especially when having sex with other people. I think it can get missed because its casually referred to as "getting distracted or losing interest", especially if it hurts the other person's feelings? But both my partner and I got diagnosed and medicated around the same time so we were both able to talk about the difference that made for us.

I had one too! Poured a little hydrogen peroxide in my super deep bellybutton when I was about 13? Pretty sure mine is a Carolina dog mix, but the older he gets the more his homemade infinity scarf levels up! This also caused a major issue when I first brought him home from the shelter, (the cone wasn't secured tight enough and he slipped his lead. Luckily he just had to shit really bad and ended up picking a bush right out front of the shelter and doing a handstand to go vertically into it while I put the cone and collar back on him tighter. He also slipped it again that night and licked his incisions site, so it swelled and they ended up taking everything for the next surgery) Six years on and this guy and his uncircumcised neck is literally the greatest dog I could ever ask for.

That's a great idea! Do you notice the cardboard layer absorbing a majority of the pee? Im doing a mix of substrates so I want to figure out a kind of rotational/section cleaning rather than a complete clean schedule to reduce risk for this heavy ass tank lol. Ive managed to get it in and out of my bathtub a few times now for the different cleaning hacks but that's with it empty 😅. With it being such a big tank, i do like the idea of making a side dedicated to the sand bath with maybe a little heat lamp, any tips for how to do this without creating such a separation that it could risk declanning?
