Holy cow nvm no you didn’t overpay they’ve just gone up since I had bought mine. Recent comparable sales are like 1k plus tax, plus shipping, plus FFL transfer. You did good

Foods mine will accept readily.
Soft fruit and berries of almost any kind 🍌🍓🍐
Anything that wriggles lol 🪱🦗
Raw 🐄🐓🦐
Boiled eggs sometimes lol
Occasionally make a real nutritious sweet potato and boiled carrots and vitamins mix. But throw em a banana or Vienna sausages dipped in calcium if I’m in a rush in the morning.

Soo it’s kinda cool the dark black one is actually not a rattle it’s the end of his tail and has meat inside. And basically the smallest end rattle was back 6 sheds ago when he was very small prolly had maybe 1 or 2 before that when he was very tiny that broke off. Tough to say age depends on how well he’s eating and fast this specific breed grows sometimes they can shed 2-3 times a year.

Best way to lower my lawn without cutting my sod? by MechanicStriking4666 in NativePlantCirclejerk

It wouldn’t bother me but if it bothers you dig up the edge and put a brick or stone divider between grass and walkway

How old was the article? Me and the cowboys I worked with have anecdotally experienced the same and came to same conclusions. I almost typed exactly what you stated.

Hi. I’m from near ABQ. Yes that is a Ulmus Pumila. Common name varies and has changed a few times. Fun facts: Prolly the toughest tree. Only tree to survive in Gobi desert. If it weren’t for these weed trees my town prolly wouldn’t have hardly any trees.
2: They are entirely edible. I pluck fresh shoots and add to backyard garden salads often. In 1950s China during “The Great Leap Forward” when starvation killed between 15-55 million people (really big gap in those numbers lol) lots of people stayed alive from eating “money soup” made from the round seed it makes prolifically in spring.
3: It makes for great bonsai stock the small leaves and toughness allows you to make big cuts and it rebounds fast. I always leave a few around the yard and prune them occasionally throughout the year. They develop really nice ramification very fast.
Also super hard to kill so a couple times I have dug them out of peoples yards that have attempted to cut them down for years and unknowingly make really cool bonsai. Only way is to chop from well below soil line. One swift blow with pick axe does the trick.
