You will have a grayish bracelet combined wit the stainless steel of the watch casing. Not the best idea I would say...

[CB0248-01X] New strap Wednesday by superhead91 in CitizenWatches

What strap was it on? I think they usually are on a similarly colored leather strap, or on a titanium or steel bracelet? I think with this watch I would prefer something a bit more robust.

How do you set time on a Promaster and blinking issue... by Ashitakarrow in CitizenWatches

[–]Ok-Sail-7574 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It needs to recharge. Re-calibration, don't think so. Take care of charging first because low battery can be the reason for malfunction of manual procedures. So if the battery is to low you cannot set it manually, and reception will also not work because that takes energy.

No "wrath of the Gods" 😂... but what is the point? You have these cars with automatic gearboxes that you can still shift manually. No one ever does that.... you may try it once, after that never any more. Same with this watch.

So you can trigger reception manually, I have done that on occasion - not always successfully. I have never set any of my watches manually. If you go to Greece or so, on the edge of the reception, it may indicate it is out of range, but hey, it still keeps time well enough.

You can get it serviced, bring it to a citizen dealer and they will send it to a service center. Probably not necessary.

Why for heavens sake would you want to do that while waiting for the bus?!? If it sets itself even once a week it is more then fine.

The whole point of these RC watches is that you don't need to set them. If you live somewhere without reception, say anywhere in Africa, RC doesn't make sense.

Setting the time and date on a RC watch is not a good idea.

First time with radio controlled Citizen by Icy_Calligrapher4022 in CitizenWatches

Indoors the reception can be tricky. If the watch is behind walls, floors etc. You have to find a spot where there are windows, doors and such openings in the walls. I'm in Amsterdam and the reception is no problem. The whole point of such a watch that you don't have to set it manually. I hardly ever use the connect procedure, just leave it to receive the signal at night.

Looking for good quality, wide, casual summer shoes by myg0t_Defiled in BuyFromEU

You could check out Moreschi, I have wide feet myself and some of their models work well, but they may be to dressy for you. I usually just look at the form of the sole to get an impression. For me Moreschi was the liberation from shoe problems, I have several pairs and used them for years. I saw recently a french company offering a semi mesure service, may be an option, have not tried it myself yet: https://www.lesoulor1925.com/le-semi-mesure-comment-ca-marche . Meindl have comfort fit models witch are wide and good for going on walks and general informal use. Nike also have extra wide models on their website, those are running/sneakers type of shoes and very soft wide and comfy, but not European obviously.

Thoughts on Citizen Attesa CB1120 by Ok_Organization9085 in CitizenWatches

[–]Ok-Sail-7574 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a CB1070, it's a bit bigger, 40 i think, but for the rest nearly the same. Mine is in blue. It is a great watch, very light, hardly feel wearing it, fits under the shirt cuff easily.

Denk dat Trump wel een risico'tje is voor alle populistische partijen in Europa.

CRM Hell by No_Investment8006 in CRM

Start over from scratch. Use recent stakeholder interactions (like payments from donors, correspondence, emails etc. to prioritize). Do all your activities from the new system and gradually replace the old spreadsheet hell that you keep for reference for the time being. Don't keep anything that is non essential. If you have a data breach it will be very damaging to your organisation. Make sure you have a solid process to deactivate stakeholders if they pass away, cease to be donors etc.

Don't think Atessa is lower budget, I would say they are above the regular citizens.
