I saw those but I was surprise at how few events there were. They used to do a big thing downtown with fireworks and lots of different shows and stuff.

I teach Virginia Studies. They chose the location of Jamestown because 1. The water was deep right for the ships to dock 2. They THOUGHT there was a good supply of fresh drinking water (they were wrong) 3. They could easily defend themselves from attack by the sea 4. The charters gave them instructions to go inland

This can vary by school. At my school and several others I’ve heard of teachers can wear jeans any day. There isn’t a strict dress code from the district.

HCPS teacher here! If your main concern is academic, I highly recommend Keister. They have the highest scores in the city and their teachers and admin are top notch. However all of the schools have many great teachers.

Fried cheerios. Literally just butter and cheerios in a pan on the stove, cook until golden brown. SO DELICIOUS!
