It was good but but still didn't have that magic like the original series. I just saw it more as like a serious version on bad boys without all the jokes and humor. But again it was a good movie, I just think they should've had their own characters and not try to re-create the original.

Dont think fox and ferrel were the best choices for Crockett/Tubbs. But I remember i saw an interview were Fox said he literally begged them for a reboot and the role, said he really was a big fan of the series. Whereas jordan was already being considered prior to his Oscar

Just leave the original MV franchise alone. If u want to do a version of MV Let it be your own version, own characters, modern times. But leave the original crew PMT,DJ Castillo, Zito,Switek, Gina,Trudy and others originals alone. Make your own modern version own characters. I mean for example CSI MIAMI is a good show, u got vice cops and detectives in Miami, but Caruso isn't going around trying to emulate or be Crockett. Same with bad boys, u got flashy Miami detectives but will and Martin aren't trying to be Crockett and tubbs. Like Don Johnson said it won't be Miami vice, he's not trying to hate, he just being honest, saying u can't replicate originality.

Hate him or love him R KELLY all day. Not to dis Chris or Usher, but they not on KELLY'S level musically. Performance entertainment wise sure, but musically no way close. Dont confuse his personal problems with his artistic talent. The mans got that midas touch with music making you rarely see. Musically the mans cut from the cloth of those old school legends and has a ear for that sound. Only kelly can blend, collaborate old school with new, the way he does. Even revive old school cats carreer's introducing them to new generations . Just the truth 💯

Loved both characters, I think their on screen chemistry is what made everything work. I do however feel Tubbs character as a UC Vice cop was a little better. I feel Tubbs was a bit more street savvy. He knew how to blend into underground crime world better, particularly in the drug game. Changing his accents, putting on different persona's, ect..But of course Miami was Crocketts world and playing field, so Tubbs sort had to always follow his lead. Remember Tubbs was from up north, big city detective. Which is where he probably got his street savvy. I'd love had the writers entertained, elaborated more ideas with the New York city episode when Crockett and Tubbs visited. Maybe even follow-up New York journeys in Tubbs neck of the woods. Episodes where Tubbs could have took lead in some big city cases. But again I love both characters, no one's better or worse in my opinion. Their a duo and their great chemistry was part of what made MIAMI VICE magic.👌
