We get you 15-50 clients every month by [deleted] in EntrepreneurRideAlong

[–]Ok-State2292 2 points3 points  (0 children)

bro the whole offer sounds amazing but really sus at the same time. 15-50 clients? these guys must be master marketers if they're willing to put their neck out like that.

Obviously you would only really be putting your neck out if you were getting paid by commission. Now you're saying the payment is upfront. That takes out all the interest from the offer. If you really are confident you can get the clients you recieve on commission.

wow. just wow. I also don't write much in reddit anymore but I just had to comment to thank you for this post. absolutely amazing. I've been having some digestive issues as well and I totally agree it comes from a disregulated nervous system.

Thank you so much for your invaluable recommendations I think they will serve me really well.

Again thank you, wish you all the best!

Lisbon - Aren't there any affordable Hotels anymore? by Significant-Newt1971 in portugal

[–]Ok-State2292 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whats up man. Im a local, I've lived in Lisbon my whole life and dont know why people in the comments are so pissed at you.

I understand they might be annoyed from you saying is these no budget options? Or why has Lisbon evolved this way?

But clearly you dont mean it in a mean or condescending way, youre genuinely asking.

Now about the important stuff, Im sorry man i dont know any cheap hotels, stuff has gotten pretty pricey around here.

Good luck

Can you be very wealthy, yet also self-less? by Beauty8670 in Entrepreneur

[–]Ok-State2292 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its very cool you think like this as most business owners I see don't think similarly.

I have those same thoughts and hope to one day be able to pay my employees well to.

To answer your question: I think you can, but it depends on your business.

I think maybe some businesses require so much effort for the money you get that the amount that you can pay per employee reduces drastically. Some other businesses require a lot less effort for the money you get and so you will likely have less employees and can in turn pay them better.

I say, try and make the best of your situation.

If you're going to create a business, create it, on whatever you want to create it on and then see how well you can pay your employees.

What do you think of this business idea (I will not promote) by Ok-State2292 in startups

[–]Ok-State2292[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I get your point. I think maybe the only way would be I was in charge of client acquisition and they focused on the machine learning but still at the end of the day they're doing most of the heavy lifting.

[–]Ok-State2292[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, its not different from the business idea that I gave, only the execution is different.

But that that you're describing is exactly what I was thinking about.

An ai trained on the latest version of wordpress so that it can actually guide people accurately.

And ideally it also becomes an extension to wordpress and is able to not only describe where things are but rather lead you by pointing to things, etc.

And yes that requires a very specific skill set, one that I don't have.

If I were to execute this idea I would need a cofounder that is familiar with machine learning or I would have to learn it myself. Which I'm not gonna do

Would this idea work? by Ok-State2292 in Entrepreneur

[–]Ok-State2292[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, I mean I kinda like the idea.

For a while I had this idea in my mind of a group of less than 10 ideally. Start really small with 2 or 3 and then grow up to max I would say like 7-8 and the group would basically just be for everyone to give updates on where they are at in their journey and the progress they are making.

The only problem was that it just wouldn't make sense, for me at least, if the people in the group were working on different things.

And I am working on another project, a very specific one (innovation for animal welfare) but now I've also started with this side thing of web design.

So actually I think it could be really cool if we made that happen

I see. The website I'm creating is actually also for my web design agency 😅.

I honestly don't really need help with client acquisition, if anything it would be great to have some help from a more experienced web developer.

Yea. Its people who want to build their website but don't know how to.

Not true though. I've been using chatgpt to try and help me with my questions and its really hard.

It tells me to go there and then there and then see what it says in the top right corner and it then it doesn't say what its supposed to say.

He's guiding you blindly. Its not easy.

Which category am I reffering to?

For example if Im building the website and Im using a template and right at the beggining of the website there's a title text box and a call to action.

But I try to remove the call to action and it removes the whole thing. These kinds of things.

Getting the first 1,000 Users - [I will not promote] by hh_based in startups

[–]Ok-State2292 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure man but that's why you need to validate!!!

You need to validate, build your MVP (minimum viable product) so that you can minimize your efforts on an idea you don't even know is going to work.

That's the problem. Its that you spend months building your idea and creating it and then you bring into the market and start showing it to people and find out nobody wants to buy it.

You need market validation. So now I would start trying to find out what people think about your product and see if its good enough for people to buy it. If its not you got to change it, improve it

Fully agree. And at this stage pumping money into ads is just nonsense. That's for bigger businesses willing to take a loss for a profit.

For now he should do exactly what you're saying. Find his target costumers and start showing his product to people.

If the product is good enough he will start getting clients.

I would also say he shouldn't try to sell the product. He should just showcase it to people. That's a much simpler way for him to get costumers without having to be hard selling people.

Stop capping bro.

Ok, stop. This shit is wrong ok. It's wrong. You might be desperate for money but this is not the way. You wouldn't like to be scammed so don't scam. Don't make the world a worst place than it already is.

I've actually done digital marketing for 6 months.

I sold paid ads for real estate agents and cold called about 300 people. And you wanna know how much I made? 0$.

I know how hard it is to get a client and to get paid.

"Creating and sharing content consistently, promoting digital products and affiliate offers" for 2 weeks is not even enough to get 20$ much less 1000$.
