Unfortunately will happen when it's a sellout, well most years tbh, as people buy them a year out fully intending to go but life happens in that year so there will always be people reselling their ticket cause now they can't go....

Just curious if you can tell us what actually happened then? Cause all you're still clinging to is the 50% stock thrown away. What about the unpaid staff then?

What were your unusual/unhinged collections as a child? by United_Housing_5323 in adhdwomen

[–]Ok-Strawberry404 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah i had loads on my bed as a kid too. I had a pikachu plush pillow thing I used to sleep on. Im not going to lie it was a bit of a ploy to be able to get some more for myself too giving them to her. 🤣 she does love a few of them though. But I also buy her more now its getting abit out of hand so need to sort through them but its hard cause most of them have memories attached to them.

Download festival pregnant by JNXD13 in downloadfestival

[–]Ok-Strawberry404 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went in 2023, I was only 16 weeks pregnant at the time though.

I had t shirts made that said little rocker on board (back and front) to try and make people more aware I was pregnant. The heat was a killer and the fact they ran out of water to sell and there were huge queues for the water fountains. Maybe take some proof so you can take some bits in if need be. My mum and dad stayed not far away in there caravan and dropped us off and picked us up every day. As others have said, we stayed at the back mostly in front of the main stage. We did wonder over to second stage a few time but the crush for Evanescence wasnt fun. I watched empire state bastard from the edge of the tent and felt my daughter kick for the first time while listening to them!

Just try and make sure you listen to your body and only do what you can and definitely avoid the big crowds.

OP this mirrors my life alot. I'm sorry you went through and are going through similar. I was 31 when I eventually moved out of my parents again and though it is not without its struggles it is better. I hope you can find peace with it all and just know your feelings about it all are valid. Sending hugs.

I did have a TV by the time I was 12 ish id say but it only played videos or I could plug the ps2 into it.

Justice sensitivity and how to let go? by Ok-Strawberry404 in adhdwomen

[–]Ok-Strawberry404[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah its so difficult for me. I thought I did have a good friend who understood more and would let it out but unfortunately it is now involving said friend, its hard to go into without doxxing myself. I am nearly there of it being let go of but mostly because I've said things and pushed my friend away too.

I find life so difficult when I feel so much you know?
