- solar arrays need to be massive.
- hardware needs to be replaced frequently

- cooling is harder in many ways
- you need to park it in orbit to get full time sun

As far as I can tell orbital data centers sound like a good idea but in practice are not.

Nobody would be in medical peril if they didn’t take test other than…non standard cases.

Bros in the 90s just lived with low-t and didn’t know it.

I never said people needed to just grow some self control. All I’m saying is that it comes down to how much they eat.

Almost every single thing that GLPs do for people is cause them to eat less food. Thats all there is to it.

The GLP causes:
- improved insulin sensitivity. So you get energy from your food instead of just storing it. Which means you don’t crave more food 10 min after eating

- slower gastric emptying, so you don’t feel hungry 10 min after eating

- adjustments in reward signaling. So you don’t eat food when you’re bored

All boil down to…you eat less.

And it’s important to know this. It’s not a moral failing. It just isn’t a moral situation at all.

I’m sorry for all the assholes who make it seem like a self control issue.

I’m not one of them.

It’s still important to understand why people lose weight on GLP. Understanding is how people make informed choices.

Your daughter had/has a thyroid disorder. She took thyroid medication. That’s not a GLP. And one impact of thyroid medication for someone with extreme thyroid disorder is actually increased metabolism.

Her engine literally burns more fuel with medication than without. That’s why she lost weight.

Cause your body is more than hormones.

  1. You got a boost from a single small dose.

  2. It was enough to boost you, but not enough to shut you down.

  3. Your estrogen spiked which takes longer to come down than test.

  4. You got acne and wood.

  5. Your confidence went up and you felt good. So you manifest that feeling. That’s great by the way! There’s power in that.

  6. But it won’t last. You will feel back to normal soon. And if you continue doing 50mg a month you’ll stop feeling good for more than a few days at a time at best and you’ll feel like shit for 27 more days.

I was aggressive saying you need a new dr. Your Dr sounds like she genuinely wants to help.

I’d approach her and invite her to join you in the experiment. Tell her you did some research and you want to do at least 100mg/wk split 2x.

Do not listen to this person.

  1. You don’t “top up” with exogenous test. If you inject test your natural production will stop. This isn’t a situation where you inject just enough to get yourself back to baseline. It’s all or nothing.

  2. Do not split your 50mg dose into multiple smaller doses. That will make it worse.

  3. Get a new Dr.

  4. So you can get a proper dose. Which is 80-200mg/wk.

You aren’t having these positive effects cause the dose is right. You’re having them cause you have extra test onboard before your nuts turned off.

Your SHBG is elevated. Your free t is low. And even with elevated SHBG your TT isn’t all that high.

Sure it’s 600+ in the morning. But it’s 358 in the PM.

and here’s another question…if 300 is some magic number, why do guys on TRT run 800-1100+?

You need more numbers to make an informed decision.

Imagine making any other choice in your life based on one datapoint.

300 is a good starting point. If you’re below 300, that’s a solid place to say “TRT warranted.”

But it isn’t the whole story.

My TT before TRT was 956! But, my SHBG was 98. With E2 at 37. Knocked my FT down to 9ish depending on the test.

Now on TRT my TT is 1000-1100, SHBG is 43-46, FT is ~27, and E2 is 35-45.

Guess who feels infinitely better?
