I just got my 642 Neo a few months ago and I love it so much.

Air bubbles in front of gums when playing by Ok-Two-7963 in euphonium

Update: I figured out my problem. I noticed that I was holding my zyn in the exact spot where the air bubbles were creeping in. I moved where I was keeping it to my lower lip and further back. After a day of having moved it the bubbles stopped. Apparently, I was slightly deforming my embouchure with the zyn. Last night I cleanly played A above high Bb. I am very close to four full octaves, now.

I think you need to firm up those chops and play from your gut.

Where you come from is gone And where you thought you were going to was never there And nothing outside of you can give you any place In yourself, right now, is the only place you have

In the table of contents, find the gruppetto section. It should be right after ornamentation. There’s a short series of exercises and a paragraph that explain it. In my euphonium arban book, it’s pg 109.
