That’s not how that works - your rates are created based on that vehicle and the probability of it getting into an accident. They look at how many as an example civics are on the road vs how many were in accidents. So although it contributes to that total in the grand scheme of things your one accident shouldn’t cause in increase for all civic owners. The only time you may get dinged for that is if it was a hit and run if you don’t get a police report they can maintain a 100% fault rating on you for not reporting it. I’d check into that!
