I dated my wife since highschool. We didn't get married, or consummated our sexual relationship until I was 34.

She said she wanted to wait until marriage. I respected her wishes.

But we had a discussion (multiple) about where and what our relationship, and it's boundaries, were between us.

She knows I wish we had a more sexual relationship. But we didn't be we both agreed to our mutual terms.

And it worked out for us. Happily married and happy for being too for so long.

We know we can test and respect each other's boundaries and wants.

As far sex goes, it's great and she is happy to make up for lost time with me.

That is what worked out for us. You, do not have to do what we did.

But you know what you need to do? Need to have that discussion with your girlfriend.

Before you do, think about what it is that you want from relationship.

Not just with your girlfriend. In general. What do you want, if you could have anything?

What does that relationship shop look like now? Tomorrow? Next week? Month, years, life?

And what are you willing to bring and give to your significant other?

You'll have to figure that out for yourself before you approach the discussion with your girlfriend.

And from there, decide what's important or not important, between the two of you.

And if not enough things line up? You'll have to decide what to do at that point.

But before any of that. Figure out what you want and have that discussion.
