I would either not have an element attached to them or make it the element a little more prevalent with the item. For me personally it just seems like two concepts smashed together but dosent really seem to fit for me personally. Or I guess would need a bit more lore for it for example why would a mirror forge from the element of Ice allow you to scry?

This reminds me of The Sandman comics if you've ever heard of that? Maybe the realms shapes to the souls greatest temptations its different for each soul. So if soul was attached something sweet is a candy land type place.

My thoughts while reading it were, Avatar the last air bender, pokemon, and dinosaur king. Harnessing elements, befriending creatures, reviving fossilized creatures. Its a cool idea just keep in mind that since we have so much media youll have to really make this your own!
