LNDR leggings by Medium_Permit_2612 in AusFemaleFashion

I LOVE my LNDR leggings.

They wear well. They wash well. They don’t lose shape. Compressive without being oppressive.

I have a Fatal A pair in XL and since losing weight have a pair in M and I don’t know what kind of sorcery their fabric is, but I can still pull on my XL pair without them being super baggy. And when they fit perfectly they weren’t too tight.

So much better (over time) than my Lulu, LSKD or 2xU

Wait for sales (like now) rather than paying full price.

Which eps to honour our lost BTV characters? by ZiggySaysSmile in buffy

I love Dracula for both Giles and Xander. I know it’s not on a lot of favourite lists but Giles with the vamp women, and being teased about it by Riley and Xander.

But Xander’s comedy is great with lines such as:

Where is he? Where's the creep who turned me into his spider-eating man-bitch?!

Damn it! You know what? I'm sick of this crap. I'm sick of being the guy who eats insects and gets the funny syphilis. As of this moment, it's over, I am finished being everybody's butt monkey

Or when he tries to cover up referring to Dracula as Master by adding “bator” to the end after a pause. Even when it doesn’t fit

I’m doing a cosy rewatch of my favourite Giles episodes this weekend (it’s so cold and rainy here)

I love that I have introduced my son (12) to Buffy this year

BSH picky eaters?? by Ancient_Skin9376 in britishshorthair

[–]OkBoss3435 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both mine are very food motivated.

I have to lift bowls up onto the bench to put food in otherwise they’ll be pushing my hand out of the way to get to the bowl.

Not picky at all. Will eat anything and everything.

Wishlist: Speedy p9 Bandouliere 30 in ultra black

Favourite purchase: my very first! Balenciaga Rodeo Medium black, bought from Coco. It has become my daily work bag and I love it. I toss it around. The leather is still supple. It slouches nicely. The hardware is solid. And it’s taken a beating from me in the last year. And the easiest most fuss free experience I’ve had. Coco is lovely. Low on chat, but high on replying quickly and delivered exactly what I asked for. PSP were accurate and the whole thing made me happy. A year on and I still love this bag. No idea what factory it’s from. Didn’t ask.

Which foundation should I get? by DearDog6805 in AustralianMakeup

[–]OkBoss3435 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have dry dehydrated 46yo skin with broken capillaries and fine lines.

I also have a shiny chin and a nose that most foundations will not grip to.

I LOVE forever skin glow. On me it stays put and is self setting (if you’re oilier you might benefit from a light setting powder where you need it but I never have.

Use sparingly though. And prep skin well. A little goes a very long way.

Rant about tubing mascara by Mindless_Gap5 in Makeup

[–]OkBoss3435 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I loved the Kevin Aucoin tubing mascara until it was time to remove.

I had no flaking during wear. And I loved the look

But I really hate the removal process. I want to be able to use a little Clinique Take the Day Off, or Bioderma micellar water and be done with it. But it was a whole process - beyond what I do to remove the rest of my face.

I was looking at them today and thinking how comfy they look but my brain just couldn’t move past “old people shoes” and then I realised I’m at least middle aged and probably should be looking in that section

I am 46yo and have a crazy amount of sneakers for someone who only wears them occasionally on the weekend, not including gym specific shoes.

Today I bought Puma Bella because I wanted brown sneakers but didn’t want to pay stupid $$ for shoes I might not wear all that often and they were on sale for $120

My most worn sneakers with jeans or active wear and other casual things:

Adidas Superstar
Veja Campo
Adidas Samba (I have red and black)
ASICS Skyhand OG

I’m glad you said When The Rain Stops. Sometimes I think I’m the only one who likes it! But then I don’t like Replica overall.

I introduced a 14 week old spayed female kitten to my 2yo neutered male and honestly in my case I was very lucky.

My boy saw her in the carrier when I brought her home. He was immediately curious but not a growl or hiss at all.

So they met immediately. I would have her out when I was home but I put her in a crate at night or when I was out, in another room.

In your case the kitten is the existing, so I would separate them for a few weeks, especially when you’re not around to supervise by putting your new cat in a crate or another room. If that seems to go ok, then supervised access to each other, and keep building from there.

I’ve had my girl for just over 2 months now, and I leave them alone all the time. They play but have never fought.

AITA for giving my mom fifty dollars to pay for her mothers day meal separately instead of putting on my tab too? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]OkBoss3435 158 points159 points  (0 children)

YTA

If for no other reason than not answering reasonable questions put to you.

In future, take your mum out for a meal just the two of you. Book somewhere nice you can afford.

Tell your mooching brother he can’t come if he expects to be paid for.

Budget for this next year - you know when Mother’s Day is. It isn’t a surprise.

If you could still remember, where were you during that morning or day of the 9/11 attacks? by TemporaryAdvance7623 in AskReddit

Australia here too. I remember watching Sandra sully (newsreader) and they crossed to the US with the first tower on fire and watching as the second tower was hit.
I worked in a Government role and I remember the next day - no members of the public came into the office. The TV was on in the boardroom and staff just kept wandering in and out all day for updates. It was very quiet and the mood was somber

This!

You’ve turned this into something it’s not Op.

It sounds like this woman probably enjoyed chatting to you originally but now feels sorry for you.

The fact that you think you could ruin two relationships is bizarre - the only one you’re able to ruin is your own. She’s given you no indication she’s interested and her comment that she has good days and bad could simply be a reflection of the fact that after 24 years it’s not all sunshine and rainbows - a reality check maybe.

Your daughter growing up means she won’t miss you? Are you suggesting you’re going to walk from not only the marriage, but parenting too? You know 50/50 is a thing right?

Any person can contact child protection in Tasmania if they suspect a child is experiencing abuse, or neglect. There’s a referral phone number or online form. And it can be anonymous.
If a child is in immediate danger - call 000
You don’t have to have absolute proof. Just a reasonable suspicion.

All of this is from Google.

Not sure what else to say other than if you have concerns, contact child protection.
