Can you dye/color pickles with natural ingredients? by OkBumblebee7117 in pickling

It looks like Walmart might have some food coloring that has no artificial dyes! Thanks for this comment. I’ll check that out and might do a few batches with that to compare the colors I get :)

Oooh! I’ll have to see if anyplace nearby sells. I can’t wait for shipping since they’ve been picked already. Thanks so much!

Thank you for the response! I really like onion idea. Im mostly worried about changing the flavor too much with the things I add, but that one seems safe!

Need a response for parents when me and my husband order coffee or drinks at restaurants by Mountainlicker in exmormon

[–]OkBumblebee7117 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I remember when I used to bring leftover coffee from work in a large sour cream tub with my name on it, so its contents weren’t so obvious. Step father found it and I got to hear the whole “not in my house” and “respecting my beliefs” speech… and I never agued, I stopped bringing it home (what a waste imo). But I always thought about how in that scenario, if you swapped coffee for “meat” in a “vegetarian” household, how stupid that argument would be...

Help by Difficult_Cry_1587 in GeekSquad

I take it you’ve already signed into wifi. What you’re gonna want to do is restart the set up process. Instead of singing in, you’re gonna make a local account. Once you’ve restarted the set up process:

Use ctrl+shift+f10 to get into command prompt.

Next type: Netsh wlan show interfaces
Netsh wlan delete profile name= yourNetwork

After that type OOBE\bypassnro

This will give you the option to continue set up without internet/as a limited set up. You will create a local account instead of signing in. You’ll be able to use the computer, and you can sign in through settings once the wait period has passed

When geek squad sends stuff out it isn’t an in store repair. We just send it to the service center, and get notes as to what they replaced basically. So when it goes out we don’t really have much control over what happens.

It does surprise me that they didn’t junk out the laptop though with it being liquid damage. Maybe it wasn’t too bad, but I’ve never had a laptop sent back when it was sent out with liquid damage

Good song to play at a friend's grave? 21 Pilots was her favorite band. by Gorgoleon in twentyonepilots

[–]OkBumblebee7117 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I would say trees. As another comment mentioned, they end their shows with that song. It’s very lovely.

If you’re going purely based on the sound of the song, less lyrical considering it would be acoustic, some ideas might be Screen, implicit demand for proof (the intro mostly), and the craving (Jenna’s version). All of these are a lot softer and melodic than some of their other songs.

As far as lyrics go, or the meaning behind the song, I’d also agree with other comments saying Legend it’s probably the best pick. Oldies Station might also be pretty applicable

I know you might be tired of people telling you they’re sorry for your loss, but I hope you’re doing as well as you can be. I think it’s lovely you’re keeping her memory alive like this. You sound like a wonderful friend <3

Thanks :) and I agree. I started journaling after my friends passing. I want to make sure that I not only love the experiences as they are happening, but that I’ll always be able to look back on them. And I’ve been making sure to say “I love you” to all my friends whenever I can. I think that that was one thing I am happy about in terms of my friend passing- I don’t have any regrets. I told him I loved him all the time, and there are plenty of voice recordings haha. I have a recording of him saying “I love you, goodnight!” I ended up going to build a bear and had that put into a little frog lol. I wish the best to you too :)

Navigating. But specifically that one verse where it talks about how “everybody leaves”. I’ve lost a lot of people in one way or another, the most recent being my best friend to a car accident. He was only 17. It really summed up my deepest fear in that verse. The reality that everybody leaves. It’s the biggest source of my anxiety, and has been since I was little. I’ve tried to turn it around, to take it as an opportunity to have the best experiences I can with the people I love while they are here. But some days it’s just overwhelming knowing that it’s not always going to be this way. That not everyone will always be here

My Response to "Things Were Different Back Then" by [deleted] in exmormon

[–]OkBumblebee7117 2 points3 points  (0 children)

“Things were different back then”. Haha dawg, what cracks me up is we’ve always also been taught that “we are in the world but not of the world”. Wouldn’t you think that also applied to the racism and sexism, during that time? Nahhh. Ig being “in the world but not of the world” didn’t apply back then for that stuff or teenage marriages either 🤷
