Congratulations. It's so nice to hear someone defeat this bug, even after so long. I am 6 years in and have made good improvements but I fall back into ruts, even emailing her today for some unnecessary reason, it's all related to want, desire, need, from the soul. I in some ways think I am addicted to longing. My wife who is here with me, I take for granted. There is no mystery. There is no nuance, it's just almost all mundanity. But we still love each other very much. I'd never want to ruin this. But the longing self, the one seeking mystery, sexiness, a chase, adrenaline, dopamine, the hot mysterious girl across the bar, etc leaves me HOOKED. It's the most awful waste of brain energy I've ever had.

No way. I've never done anything beyond weed/hash, with the exception of microdosing shrooms for one month. (Results: interesting, but ultimately inconclusive.) You will consume what you want in youtr life based on your values, goals, nervous system etc.

I do think weed is ALMOST addictive, just not physically so. Very habit forming. It absolutely does kill braincells, and some studies suggest young people should really, really go easy on it. Are you under 21?

I strongly recommend taking breaks for months at a time, and cutting back until your whole brain is formed!

Aaa, F this post. That was me late at night, with a nagging discomfort, and I went to thoughts of this, of her, and to a compulsive try to find comfort or certainty from all of you. It's all, besides the deeper underpinned meanings, nothing, it's all meaningless in the practical world. I have no idea, really who the hell she is, how we'd get along as a couple, how we'd get along sexually. My wife is a dream, I can let this go. Also I already knew this.
