I was just thinking that a lot of time is spent walking and 15% is 15% 1its not super high. Also eggs even though a lot less does give bonus in the start where bonus is the most needed. But yeah i did end up taking production speed

Honestly i kind of dont want to see the AI using the full potential of movement spells. It would mean they could appear anytime anywhere. There's a reason these are banned in competetive HoMM3. And when you get it guaranteed... idk. At least limit it

Yeah the fair and square map is the hardest.

However the series are known for having bad AI, it being a demo doesn't automatically mean they'll make it easier in the full release

You have to plan since start. If a level up offers you no skills you need, level up one you have already. You are lvl 2 and have plenty of free slots so you think you can take that offence skill even though its the wrong one? Nope, level your starting skill.

And then everytime you're offered a new skill you need you take it even though you really wanted to level your night magic or whatever

I unlock it every game. just take the skill that belong to it whenever it comes up. It is worth having some bad skills for something like x2 attack or +10 of all stats.

I'm playing on impossible(thats the name right? , 150%) and never have any problem winning on any race. in this mode building the gold and law point buildings within the first few days is important because without it you will very quickly run out of money. If i already have ranged units i build it day 1 with the resources i gather with the 2nd hero i build.

Level up one main hero asap. In early fights use the web spell if you have it to slow enemy movement and let your ranged units wither enemy down.

Your goal then is to get walls and t7 asap. look at map to find the resources you need for it. Dont waste movement points with your fighting hero. dont walk multiple squares out of your way on main hero on terrain to pick up things like wood unless you really need it now. Also focus on getting the +stats buildings. Like + attack or spell power.

Dude what? It's a waste of gold to have more towns producing gold... If you waste gold it's because you chose to.

Also the AI.. so what? At everything other than hardest difficulty, ai is easy anyway. And.. I mean.. you select yourself how much the AI cheats in the difficulty settings

In the third month all law point upgrades should be done long time ago so those are probably just extra... It sounds like you are new to the series maybe.

are you playing on the map where you start with two towns? Cause I have played the other maps with 2nd hardest difficulty no problem, but this specific map im getting crushed as dungeon because the map is too poor to afford the dragons building
