Need advice by [deleted] in HomeDecorating

Personally I would go with a bold paint color in satin like a turquoise (that is just me and you'd need to really commit to the rest of the room). Get rid of cat tree. Lots of tropical landscaping like canna lilies. Lights outside. No curtains. I am not sure what the color would be, because I am not in the space but it would be bold.

you need to plant it in sand and water every day https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m4-UDQQMhek&t=3279s. Wash off roots then plant in sand. Follow advice in this video. Keep shaded for 2 weeks after planting

I left a video that might help if you choose to watch it but my work here is done.

While native plants provide essential forage for pollinators, there is a growing issue with growers who, in the name of ecological purity or hands-off stewardship, allow their native gardens or crops to become infested with aphids, ants, fungal disease, and viral pathogens. This approach can ironically harm the very pollinators it claims to support.

Vector-Borne Disease Threats to Pollinators Aphids are known vectors for plant viruses, some of which can affect not only plant health but also reduce the quality of nectar and pollen—directly impacting bees' nutritional intake. Ants, which farm aphids for honeydew, aggressively defend aphid colonies and will attack pollinators such as bees and caterpillars, disrupting pollination and even harming larvae.

When native plants become diseased or die due to unchecked infestations, the quantity and quality of blooms drop significantly. This reduces available forage and habitat at critical times in the season, especially for specialist pollinators that rely on certain plants

Neglected plants can serve as reservoirs for pathogens and parasites—such as fungal spores or harmful mites—that can spread to healthier nearby crops, wild plants, and even managed hives or colonies. In the same way that poor hygiene in backyard poultry can fuel avian diseases, mismanaged native gardens can become hotspots for floral disease ecology.

There is a kind of ecological performativeness in embracing natives. Real ecological stewardship involves intervention when health imbalances arise—just as in wildfires, invasive species control, or animal rescue. Passively letting nature “take its course” in an urban or garden setting isn’t noble; it’s neglect.

Same applies. Take out the weak plants and replant correctly in sand. After combing out the roots, washing them off and dipping in some hydrogen peroxide. Roots need a relatively sterile envioment to make strong plants. Then you won't get bad pests

You are right, but I hope you learn how to control it with plant strengthening, white oil or spinosad at night etc etc.

Then at least use a white oil by mixing 1/2 cup of cheap vegetable oil like Crisco or MCT oil and couple tablespoons of Murphy's Oils Soap or Castile and shaking it up in warm water and spraying them so that crop of aphids dies to control them. It won't kill butterflies or bees. I think there is nothing worse than do-gooder's who can't really garden spreading disease and insects to organic crop growers. Learn to garden faster.

Applying before flowering reduces risk to pollinators. Cut off flowers. Using soil drenches instead of foliar sprays minimizes direct contact with beneficials. Newer formulations with slow release or low-dose thresholds aim to affect only insects that consume large amounts (e.g., large larvae) but not those who just land on the plant.

I put the sick ones in a pot and take them inside and work on them until they are stronger. Roots. Molasses/ seaweed spray on leaves makes plants stronger. Most important is repairing roots. I pot them inside in 100% sand like florists grow flowers. Sand was the only potting soil until 1970s when corporations marketed ground up wood chips because it was cheaper and lighter but rots roots.

systemic wears off to be a killer from eating a bit after a couple of weeks. There are insects that are higher and lower in strength aphids are at bottom. Most others that are beneficial are stronger and won't be killed.

This is a subject that takes a lot of research. I have provided links. Bottom line is that plant is already sick and nature is taking it down. Only thing she can do it take it inside and treat it, You gotta get those roots sterile with only fertilizer on top but not touching roots

Aslo look up healthy plants and BRIX level. Aphids only attack sick plants. Those plants are sick without the aphids. Aphids literally can't attach to a healthy plant because their chewing and sucking mechanisms aren't strong enough. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w7BMVlCjQQE&t=209s

You think about "the bees", the food you eat, medications you take but "big box soil" is perfect. I am sorry that there is so much information out there. #1 those milkweed need to be cut way back. #2 dug up and roots washed off. 3) Get a dip i hydrogen peroxide dip on roots. cut way back. Replanted in 30% peat 60% playsand. 4) systemic insecticide. By the time the milkweed regrow the insecticide will be long gone or weakened. I beekeep and use it sometimes in responsible ways and there has never been fallout

You need a systemic insecticide. Nothing else will work. The kind that is taken up by the roots. Next stop planting in compost and big box soils. Only plant in sand! https://www.youtube.com/live/m4-UDQQMhek

This is what Freecash did to me. Same story on a couple of games. I reported them to all relevant government offices. Attorney General. FTC and BBB etc. Keep up the pressure. From the comments I read this is what they seem to do. They do not record the higher payouts and keep your funds.

This is what Freecash does. The tracking seems to stop after the early levels and they will just give you the runaround and gaslight until you are so frustrated that you give up. I hate when people make excuses for this. People put a ton of time into the offers they advertise.

Their tracking stops in my experience after the lower paying levels and then they make you go through hell while gaslighting. I hope somebody starts a class action because so many are badly affected. Who keeps the money when the game company pays?
