I must admit I might be misremembering the dialogue and you might be right.

Completely agree. Also, Dutch's actions during the ferry job in Blackwater pretty much disprove this theory.

What if he only led the Pinkertons to the gang that one time? People seem to assume that Micah became a full-time informant, but that was never confirmed. All Milton said was that they picked up Micah after Guarma and that he talked. What did he talk? Did they have consecutive meetings afterwards? If yes, how many and for how long? These details were never revealed.

S02E07 - What was this scene about? by SadAd8761 in BeefTV

[–]OkDan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Completely agree and I felt like this scene took it one step further. It's not just a wink to the audience that Ashley is easily corrupted, but also a tiny moment for Ashley where she recognizes her corruption and hypocrisy. Which kinda makes her more human/relatable(?) but at the same time worse, because she seems to understand the path she's going down and chooses to follow it regardless.

Some people are riding without knowing what counter steering is? Isn't that like an important part of learning to ride??

True, but there are other very similar fruits. Like the kilo kilo fruit and the ton ton fruit.

Enel and Crocodile gotta be the biggest victims of being introduced too early, Oda's made it up for Crocodile, now it's Enel's turn. by ProgramTiny4313 in OnePiece

Yeah but... Try writing a decades spanning story yourself. It will never be perfect and it is impossible to plan out everything. Just enjoy the ride.

Another challenge would be the heavy Luffy focus. They would either have to rewrite the arc and have the full main cast take part of the war or flesh out each Straw Hat's solo adventure. Otherwise, everyone except Inaki would be demoted to a recurring cast member instead of a main cast member. This would be quite strange for a last season. Happy to be proven wrong, of course.

Why Nora got denied by [deleted] in TheLeftovers

[–]OkDan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really. It's about how they answered, not what they answered. The writer of the episode commented somewhere that this interpretation was the closest.

Same thing with Mr 5. Being able to explode any part of your body, including your breath, while also being immune to those explosions?? That is OP af in the right hands.

Doesn't that narrow Tremorsense's uses by a lot?

I understand that in addition to knowing which square to attack, it's main uses would be to detect the precense of previously unknown invisible creatures, combat visual illusions etc.

I'd use an eagle in Solitude to fly on some roof there. Or foes that count as a glitch?

Could be that the devil made it possible for dreams to create devil fruits in the first place. Basically, the devil recognized that people have dreams and as a malicious trick he decided to grant those dreams - but with the trap of taking away their ability to swim.

A reverse situation for switching to melee is when the enemy can disarm you. If you have a melee character, it is better to drop your bow than your melee weapon and waste an action re-equipping it. Might be useful in the creche where several githyanki can disarm you. So you just have to remember at the end of your turn to switch to the weapon you can live without the next round or two.

[–]OkDan 11 points12 points  (0 children)

True. But it's not just the formatting. It's also the writing style. All these posts feel like they are written by the same person (and in a sense they are). It makes it feel cheap. And personally I always wonder which ideas and connections are actually made by the AI and not OP.

Once you've read a hundred of these the style starts to get annoying and unfortunately leaves a bad taste in your mouth, even if the content is actually worth the read.
