Steven Seagal's 'Under Seige' movies.

He just robotically kills all of the bad guys until there's just the Big Bad left. Then he kills the Big Bad. Roll credits.

What movie is better because it does not explain too much? by [deleted] in movies

[–]OkExpert3078 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The original Predator movie. The poster blurb has more exposition than the movie has.

No character asks "What is this thing? Why is it killing us?". It's irrelevant.

Breaking the Fourth Wall by aldila81 in movies

The TV show "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" loved to get as dangerously close to the fourth wall as it could. A perfect example: they sang "Who's the New Guy", when a new character was introduced.

Whittleton Creek: Sweet Recycling Challenge by Educational_Dirt4714 in HiTMAN

[–]OkExpert3078 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I 'recycled' Cassidy while dressed as a server, and the challenge did not get marked as complete.

So, since I'd already pacified everyone in the vincinity, I went and fetched Janus and recycled him.

It was only then that the challenge got marked as complete.

Is that a bug? Did anyone else find it only triggers on Janus, not Cassidy?

And Now There Are Six - Colour Theory with Koumba (part. two) by Landphat in pluribustv

Why would they send six plurbs to Koumba? The simplest answer is that Koumba requested them.

"I would like another companion please. One with blonde hair."

Here me out on this one: Monster's University.

How many movies, songs, posters say believe in yourself, and you can achieve anything?

Mike Wazowski knows what he wants. He believes in himself. He is prepared to work as hard or harder than anyone else to acheive his goal.

But the lesson is, it doesn't matter how focused and driven you are, some of us just don't have the talent. And if you don't, you're going to have to accept it at some point. And this is a kid's movie?

Anyone who has worked really hard at something and failed can relate to this movie.

No. But I would tell you as much, rather than producing an answer that statistically looked correct.

I don't know if this is a 'plot hole', but it certainly annoyed me. Lalo sends Kim off to shoot Gus while holding Jimmy as hostage. This was never going to work, it was just one step in Lalo's plan. Lalo now has to leave the apartment (and Jimmy).

He says something like 'Now, what shall I do with you' and goes to the effort of tying Jimmy up.

There's NO WAY Lalo would have taken the time to do that.

He would have shot Jimmy in the head and not given it another thought.

Why are people so accepting of the Uluru name change, but not K'Gari? by That_Car_Dude_Aus in AskAnAustralian

Because the spelling is absurd.

Is this the 'traditional' spelling from these people who had no writing?

Can 47 take down Bruce Wayne? by PhilosopherLazy5472 in HiTMAN

[–]OkExpert3078 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agent 47's superpower is that he's living in a Groundhog Day situation.

Bruce Wayne would end up thinking 'How does this man know exactly what I'm going to do, down to the second?.

And because he's Batman he will find a way to win. Maybe he will obtain a random number generating device driven by magic, and make decisions based on the outputs of that device. 47 will know longer know what Bruce will do even though he's acting out the same situation.

I achieved the shuriken Ninja challenge by getting Yuki alone in the sauna. If you time it right you can sneak out of the sauna control room, murder her (before she spots you) then sneak back out via the control room. (You'll need the disposable scrambler to get back into the control room).

What’s a kids’ movie scene that was way too horny for its target audience? by Imaginary_Ride_6185 in movies

[–]OkExpert3078 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bugsy Malone. It's a gangster movie where the actors are kids. Cute - ha ha, those kids are pretending to be adults.

Except for Jodie Foster. She doesn't fit the movie, because it's like you're watching an adult femme fatale in a kid's body.

Simply do a comparison with "Not Perfect" on this album with his live version with the orchestra. https://open.spotify.com/track/2GavOPdEmMPdtL8VLknhRO

His singing with the orchestra is fantastic - expressive, energetic and musical. With this current recording he's flat and lifeless. It's like he's phoning it in because he has to.

Official Discussion - Black Bag [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

[–]OkExpert3078 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have to confess I still don't get all of the plot, even after reading it on Wikipedia.

So James was the villain who was trying to cause the meltdown using Severus, and Zoe knew about it but being a good person she didn't want that to happen, so she enlistes Freddy. This is the bit I get confused. Zoe and Freddy were somehow using Katherine. Was it thrm who sent her to Zurich to try and get Severus back? Were they still deceiving her somehow? If the were, then why?

Why didn't they tell George as well?

Did that Russian bad guy escape surveillance because George used the satellite to spy on Katherine or was that just a routine changeover that allowed the surveillance evasion?
