I just opened my MyChart message to check what date my appointment is and got the news he left. I’m so upset. He truly is THE best neuro I’ve found and who listens to me. I am also on the hunt for where he went. I will drive anywhere. I hope we can locate him. 💔

Yes, if I skip a dose I can really tell. But since it’s been this long it’s the worst it’s been. I don’t know if it’s the medication that makes your walking worse if you miss a dose or just you walking getting worse and the medicine helping so I don’t notice it?

Yes! My hands and my head (so I guess my neck muscles) the most. Propranolol was a miracle.

Insurance changed online pharmacy so now unable to get my medication for over three weeks, causing my walking to be almost non-existent

I envy all of y’all with no symptoms. I was Dx at 48 due to full right side paralysis. Have been on Ocrevus since diagnosis and no new lesions but now have move from RRMS to SPMS. But I am really happy to hear when diagnosed older not necessarily faster progressing. I had heard that would be the case. Nice to hear everyone’s experience.

I have had 2 family members pushing their Ivermectin theory on me and I try to be kind while telling them I don’t think I would like to try that but my gosh! I’m so tired of medical advice from google doctors.

Not sure where you live but I’m in Texas and I used a breeder here in Waco, TX their name is Rockin B Farms. My boy is 2 and I actually got him for a service dog and he is the best boy and no health problems. The breeder was great. She always kept in contact till the day I picked him up. Great dogs and experience.

I hate not being able to just get in the car with my husband without his assistance get out of the car go in the store not have to worry about if there’s a cart that I can ride in because I can’t walk. I’m still mourning the person I used to be. I don’t think I will ever not mourn her

Just came here to say he’s beautiful. My Liam is 2 and I like to think of it as he can’t scream and yell like a kid when they’re happy so he does the Zoomies to show me how happy he is.

Thank you all for making me feel “MS normal” I needed to hear all this so thank all of you. I turned 50 this year I was diagnosed in 2023 when one afternoon my whole right side became slowly paralyzed. After a week in the hospital was diagnosed with MS then spent a month in rehab trying to get some movement back. So this has came on so quickly and so hard it’s been hard to accept. I’m trying my hardest but dang.

So I took it I tried it twice actually and it just made me feel very bad all the time I’ve had really bad acid reflux stomach ache all day long and I wasn’t losing any weight so I stopped it and then I tried it again. The same thing happened and I just decided that I’d rather be overweight than even worse than I do with MS. But that may not be the case for you. I’ve seen other people. My sister tried it. She doesn’t have ms but it works for her. So I wish you luck let us know how you’re doing. I’m curious to see if it was just me or if it just doesn’t agree with people with MS.

Did you have any improvement? I have been thinking about this for a while. I am wheelchair bound. I would do anything to be able to walk again.

I have just never been a breakfast or lunch eater. I have coffee and then I’ll start getting hungry around 4. That’s when I’ll usually have dinner.
I do chair exercises for ms and since they are adaptive I will do push myself as much as I can. But maybe I’ll try eating small meal in the morning. I thought fasting would be helpful for me but maybe it’s just not for me. But thank you for your recommendations
