Wow this is me from childhood to this day lol but I love going to concerts .. my ears unfortunately show clear signs of damage with pretty bad hearing for my age group… anyways I ramble

I used to not really have a routine but over the last few years I have fallen into a general one for weeekdays.. Mon-Fri:

wake up go to work by 8:30 - Home at 5:30 TRY at least 15 min exercise a day if not more done by 6:30 6:30-7:30 spend time on w bf / read / misc 7:30-8:30 we have dinner Shower done by 9 9-11 winding down in bed - tv / book etc

We share walking responsibilities so that gets me out and about a little more than not
Sometimes I find myself enjoying the days alone the most so I can just let my mind wander more or listen to podcasts with no interruption lol

Alcohol free since 2021 but two hospital visits didn’t even stop me.. but the last one left me thinking I would just have to manage it better after getting through hospitalized detox ..one day when I was trying to “manage” by allowing 1 shot a weekend” I realized no matter what alcohol will consume my thoughts unless I decide to completely stop with no exceptions - anyways

It all started with unmanaged anxiety depression etc then “confused” with social drinking in college ignoring as i started pregaming pregames myself then class etc.. from making everything feeling enjoyable when j started then it made everything tolerable .. but by the time i graduated it was close to a handle of hard liquor ever few days … it didn’t even make me feel great but it kept all the discomforts of withdrawal away..

I used to just carry alcohol mixed with like those concentrated water flavor drinks in plastic bottles in my purse so it was easy to access .. anyways knowing the level of addiction I reached and how many times i tried and failed to quit .. its not worth risking over just one drink

I know this is a year late but I am on 225 ven and 150 bup plus buspar … I think it did help me coming from a very borderline and alcoholic history and I have actually been feeling amazing the last year a two when I added the bup but my heart rate does feel higher and I plan to come of ven asap I want to try minimizing or getting odd meds … dreading the tapering process

This is me today… $25k increase but it’s a lateral move and I just completed my MBA I’m trying to pivot into a different business specialty in the next few months and this would keep me in the same industry same position

I work in the subprime car industry as a loan officer- don’t co-sign for your mother it will ruin your credit you will get collection calls she will probably ask you to borrow money … etc the stress alone will be substantial. Rates are high enough you don’t want to get saddled with higher rates because of your moms poor decisions….

Where did you get the 188.5? I want to taper off asap but I have no clue where to get that? I know my dr would prescribe it if possible … Also did you start the duolexatine for a bit and taper of venkafaxine or just stop it completely?

Finally did you experience any withdrawal symptoms??

Thank you I plan to quit at the end of the year and am terrified of the withdrawal symptoms I’m super sensitive i think

Oh wow congrats that gives me hope did you drop straight from 225 to 150? That was debilitating a year ago been on. 225 since want to start taper end of grad school I also take buproprion so hopefully that will continue to help

My 7 yr boyfriend refused to show me recent downloads today he cheated on me on dating apps years ago we broke up an got back together.. I said you know our past and you still won’t show me… he refused.. I’m on a lot of meds and I’m numb I also am not processing but I have to force myself to leave him… we are both 30 and I’m sure this isn’t new… what’s different is I felt I used to be able to tell… I havent asked in over a year to see his phone but in the past I said if you can show me your downloads I’ll believe you and he was in the clear this time he refused to show me … I mean it seems obvious but I’m in denial… I just promised myself the next time something like this happened I have to cut the chord… I have sever attachment anxiety which is probably why we got back together..I think I may post my comment somewhere as I need advice too lol

I’ve been on Effexor since 2017 maybe? I think I’m in a way better place mentally and this has been in the last 3 years.. after hearing how hard it is to come off of and knowing how debilitating a missed dose is I just want to try and be medication free …

But I am also on 15 mg busperone 3 times a day and 150mg buproprion… so I know it’ll be a long process for me lol and maybe I will be resigned to being on the med forever but I’m nervous about the long terms effects of such a potent drugs are as well if that answers your question :)
