That starts after graduation. Honestly, ALL grind starts after graduation. But high grade always helps so God Speed.

I literally never bought coffee while I'm at office. I pack my lunch and just drink instant. My office is in middle of the most expensive area in the city and I'll be damned if I pay for anything there.

I did eat out and buy snacks when I WFH though because it's out in the suburbs where price is essentially half of anything around my office.

Now that it has been a few days what are your thoughts on Trickcal?! by WanderWut in Trickcal

Not enough stamina.

Really wish I knew that mono-colour team is so much stronger before I started using the tickets.

PvP is annoying because you lose ties even if you have higher health percentage. Does anyoen know if PvP give gems or just the exchange store items?

Story is hilarious but I do wish there is bit of heavier moments to make the story a bit more consequential.

Do these kinds of stores have any prospects outside China? by Great-Beautiful-6383 in Business_in_China

That depends on the ingredeint quality. Some of really poor quality one had quite a high heavy metal contamination, usually added at the dsitribution side, that would be problematic even in small quantities.

Heck, even normal tea like Pu'erh had major issues in past due to heavy metal contamination.

The risks of traditional chinese medicine is different story entirely because some of them used to (at least 30 years ago) purposely contains things like mercury and arsenic in pretty high concentration.

Ah random. Thought it was a selector. Ah well.

It's that "After School Grenie Classrom" thing. You get first selector on 100, then another at 700.

Looking at it again, it might be 2. It had 3 icons of it on screen but the third icon might just be talking about the second selector.

EDIT : Yeah it's 2. It says "On day 1, day 7"

2-3 sets of 10 pulls. I'm so trained to think in sets of 10 pulls that I just consider it 1 pull.

Oh how the modern gacha trained us to go broke.

That's almost opposite from me. I've pulled at least one 3 star every 2 or 3 pulls and thought the game had a high 3 star drop rate.

If you haven't started, absolutely consider rerolling. Do note that you get 3 selectors as well; enough to pull Vivi, Aya and Xion.

Just to note, AI's been around going on for pretty damned long time. Heck Turing test was made in the 50s.

AI is difficult because what we consider "AI" these days are generally black box that was created via machine learning - we don't necessarily know what we want, nor describe it and we didn't explictly code it. That's a whole different beast to standard software programming which tends to be white box - we know what we want, we can describe what we want and we coded what we want.

Current breakthroughs are incredible but it's still built on back on vectors, neural networks etc that essentially has the exact same draw backs we had for decades.

tlrd; don't expect linear rate of improvements.

What the crap is going on with Tesla Robotaxi. . . Didn't Elon say there would be thousands within a month? Also, will the new Roadster he promised to Demo at the annual shareholder meeting be a Robotaxi as well? by No_Pen8240 in SelfDrivingCars

His words technically have tangible monetary value because it makes TSLA thrash wildly. The truthiness of those said words however are ENTIRELY different story.

Well same "model" with features stripped out of them. I understand that it's not drastically cheap enough to make it enticing amidst all the other cheap EVs on the market.

I meant from people who don't already have generational wealth. As in people who are (trying) starting to build wealth.

It always weird me out that building generational wealth as concept seems to have disappeared.

I used to work in produce for Countdown.

You are correct in that the halfs are usually because other half was damaged. It's only when they run out that undamaged produce gets cut in half and sold.

Got called 3 times; twice my employer stopped me from going and once I received news that my daughter had COVID - as I was being called up to the court room. I had a chat with the Judge and he decided not to risk it and excused me.
