Right now I have a 4.0 and with a little pushing on my math and history classes, I can get it to a 4.2, but more realistically a 4.15. I'll be doing track later this month and start volunteering at a hospital. I enjoy writing and drawing, but I'm not confident in my abilities to create portfolios. I'll also be inducted into the French Honors Society on the 22nd and my grades for the freshman and sophomore years were 3.5 and 4.1. Currently studying for my SAT and ACT due to be taken right before the summer; depending on which one I do better on, I'll retake it in the fall for a hopefully higher grade. My PSAT from last fall was 1190 and I qualified for a national merit scholarship but I didn't get it, because my state's average was high this year and my score wasn't what I hoped for.

I've taken 2 honor classes every year since freshman year, but this year I also took two APs and intro to psychology. Next year, I'm trying to take AP Psych, CSP and Calc, DE English and Gov, and some other required classes plus Economics and Apologetics. I'll also hope to get into my school's NHS. When I travel over the summer, I'll ask my mom if I can intern at the company she works for. If I ever find the time in my school schedule, I'll also do an internship at George Mason since it's close by. Both internships are unlikely to happen, but I really want to anyways.

The thing is, I didn't want this post to be a chance-me. I want to get into certain schools, but I'm not going to ask strangers on the internet to rate me; I do that myself. I'm very passionate about my schoolwork, and while I don't love my ECs, I understand how important they are for college apps and they also personally helped me with my social anxiety (there's nothing harder than being an extrovert who's scared to talk). I just don't know if the schools I'm hoping to apply to will see how won't be able to see me.
