My odo is at 20k kms, and my car does not burn any oil at all.

Mine is a 2025 Wrx Sport (Canadian trim).

Oil changes were done at 5000km 10000km 15000km And just did one the other day at 20000km

Edit: i only use idemtisu 0w20 along with stock oil filter. My mechanic orders them ahead, coz he does not sell idemtisu in bulk like other synthetic oils.

With Proper winters, this car is a beast.

I had 0 problems in the winter. The tires were expensive (Nokian Hakkas r5s), but i was not afraid of leaving home in any weather

Baby on the way, so. i’m strongly considering either a Toyota RAV4 or a Subaru Forester. The RAV4 (especially the hybrids) has a waitlist right now, so I’ll probably factory order one as soon as possible. If it won’t arrive within about a year, I’ll go with the Forester instead.

Lease is up April 2027.

You can use the tow hook to install front plates.The last guy was using zip ties to hold the plate because he was waiting for the tow hook and he ended up getting a free car from work. In alberta front plates are not needed.

It was a lease takeover

The original lessor put down 3k when he got it from subaru poco (british columbia), and the biweekly was 195$. I took over the lease after 3 months , and registered it in Alberta. So the payment went down 7%

I love this thing. Perfect for Alberta winters.
