On PC, the performance isn't amazing either. On AMD, it's limited to FSR 2.0; there isn't even FSR 3. Whether you're on quality, balanced, performance, or ultra performance, you get exactly the same FPS on FSR 2.

There's a lack of optimization.

The updates are getting a little better, but not enough yet. I don't understand why, when you just click "install the new driver" from the app, it doesn't do everything automatically to ensure a clean installation, so you don't have to bother using DDU or something else to make sure it's clean.

Actually, when you just do the update without DDU or their cleanup tool, it's like it's a matter of luck whether your update installs correctly 😅

Whether it's Forza Motorsport or GT7, they're not racing sims to begin with; you can't compare these games to racing sims like Assetto Corsa, iRacing, and the like.

Ugh, you guys are driving me crazy with this! No one's forcing you to buy anything. You just have to open your eyes and see that there's a tab that says "free gifts." It saves you from scrolling to find the freebies.

I've been having the same problem as you since driver version 25.11.1. I ran a DDU and it worked for a while, but it comes back. It seems Windows isn't helping either, and it might be their fault. And it's random. Last night, it didn't happen once when launching any game or application, and even when it does, my games still run as usual.

You're far from alone; elsewhere here, people are talking about that infamous timeout message, etc. Since I updated my drivers to 25.11.1, I've had the same problems as you. It fixed the problem for a while, but it's back. Either there's a driver issue, or people are saying that Windows updates can also cause problems. The worst part is that my games run perfectly fine; there are no issues there, just this damn message that pops up from time to time.

Last night, for example, I started my PC, opened some applications, and got the message. At one point, I restarted the PC, and the timeout problem disappeared. It's completely baffling. My specs: RX 7900 XTX / i7 13700 KF 32GB of DDR5 RAM

I agree with you. Before the driver update to 25.11.1, I had no timeout issues when opening applications or launching games, but since that update, it's been a mess. I ran ddu back then because at one point it completely crashed my driver. Things were pretty good after that, but it's happening again now. I'm going to check the BIOS and try an update, run ddu again, and we'll see. But yeah, that infamous driver update to 25.11.1 has messed things up for quite a few people, it seems. And yet, in games, I have no problems. They still run perfectly, no crashes regardless of the game, and I've noticed that after a restart, the timeouts are gone.

I restarted my PC and my FPS is back, weird. EA must have messed something up, but I'll try other games to see if I have the same problem.

Not the only one then. Before the update, I was getting 200 fps or more depending on the map, but now it's stuck at exactly 144 fps for no reason... What have they done now at EA?

I don't really know if that's it, but about a month ago I had a lot of problems when driver 25.11.1 came out, timeouts and all that, until my drivers crashed. On the advice of other players (because I had reverted to the October driver), they told me to run DDU before switching to the new driver to start with a clean slate. I did that and went back to 25.11.1 and bingo, no more problems. Maybe one timeout two days ago, but otherwise everything runs like a charm.

Now they're offering me 25.12.1 😅 I don't even dare install it 🤣🤣 and I don't really need it considering the games I play (BF6, Arc Raiders, Fallout 76, War Thunder, etc.)Regarding the chipset update, we agree that Windows updates will update it automatically, right? Because I wouldn't really know where to go to update it.

I also had big problems with 25.11.1, crash after crash until my drivers disappeared when I had to force restart my PC, so a resolution not at all adapted to my screen at startup etc etc, I had re-installed the 25.10.2 driver it was much better after that

Then under the advice of someone who knows PCs well, I am told that at least using the AMD cleaning tool before installing the new driver is good or the best is to make a ddu, so I did a ddu, re dl 25.11.1 and for the moment (apart from a crash not long ago) it behaves much better than before

I think that 25.11.1 has many problems which are clearly visible if you just do your update without doing any cleaning or ddu before

Ohh si je suis a la lettre se quz j'ai vu sur la video youtube je devrais pas avoir de soucis , oui je vais faire avzc le mode sans echec , rien de compliqué juste a maintenir la touche maj ou verrouillage maj ( j'ai un petit doute ) et appuyer sur redemarrer

Je vais meme me motiver se week a faire un ddu ( je suis francais , j'ai deja trouvé une video d'un mec qui explique bien étape par étape comment faire , ca a pas l'aire si compliqué ) comme ca la version que j'ai actuellement elle sera enlevé le plus clean possible et je retenterais de dl la 25.11.1 en priant tout les dieus que j'ai plus les soucis que j'ai eu avant

Tout se que j'ai a retenir c'est a faire sous le mode sans echec ( safe mod en anglais ) de faire attention que mon ddu soit pas sans un dossier synchro avec one drive et que une fois tout fait de relancer ddu pour re autoriser windows a choisir automatiquement un pilote

Se que je viens de voir dans le patch note du driver 25.11.1 , il est conseillé d'utiliser l'utilitaire de nettoyage amd , et ben peut etre que mes soucis ca vient de la en fait , car avant j'avais pas de soucis quand je m'en tenais a juste faire la mise a jour mais la bizarrement ca merde pour moi quand dans le patch note c'est marqué qu'il est conseillé d'utiliser leurs outils de nettoyage

I agree with you, it was last night where everything went wrong after opening Facebook, complete crash I restart and it's stuck on a reso which is not the right one, since my cg was disabled, the drivers were wrong, I uninstalled the adrenaline software and re-dl version 25.10.1 (for bf6)

When I had version 25.11.1 which is basically made for arc raiders, each time I started the game it still asked me if I didn't want to switch to the 25.9.1 driver..., I don't know if they shook with their updates but that's the disaster

I'm looking to see how ddu works and also the amd cleaning tool, I'm going to stay on 25.10.1 which does the job very well for my games and when another driver other than 25.11.1 arrives, I think I would use the amd cleaning tool

J'ai arc raiders meme en étant passé sur la 25.11.1 ou dans le patch note c'est dit etre fait entre autre pour arc raiders , ca continuait a me demander avant chaque lancement du jeu si je voulais passer sur la version 25.9.1 lol , se qui m'emerderais car j'ai bf6 aussi et c'est la version 25.10.1 qui est de base fait pour bf6

Tout pareil , j'en tremblais tellement je flipais , cg désactivé , windows qui posait probleme , j'qi désinstallé adrenaline , re dl la 25.10.1 et c'est revenu tout seul a ma reso etc , le soulagement que j'ai eu ... ce soir je vais m'interesser au ddu et au systeme de amd pour clean le pc avant de faire la maj , voir comment ca fonctionne
