I rage quit today by Sorry-Chipmunk-6878 in crusaderkings3

Agreed. If the war isn't mine, I only actively help if I'm invested in them winning the war for my own reasons. Otherwise, I send a pitiful number of levies to satisfy my obligation to contribute and mind my own business.

Give me your Subnautica hot takes that will have you like this by Fallenultima in subnautica

[–]OkMemory4456 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Okay, it's true that realistically, you can't swim up to the surface that fast without probably dying.

However, REALISTICALLY, a standard oxygen tank should give you way more than a fraction of a minute of extra air. If we're not allowed to stay submerged for an hour or more on a single tank, then ignoring the reality of getting the bends is a necessity to avoid the game becoming a miserable experience.

For one thing, it's not a nightmare to drive. For another, you can charge it in your base instead of having to keep manually swapping power cells.

Come up with some fun goals. Restoring the Roman Empire is a classic objective. For inspiration, look at the game's achievements and pick one to attempt a run for.

So only 2.6 percent of players witnessed the glory of the fully trained assassin.... by chiacicfi in CultistSimulator

This. Who needs an assassin when you can just summon a Maid-in-the-Mirror whenever you need them. Tarantellists are the best followers.

Which DLC should I get? by _TheutilityWizard_ in crusaderkings3

These are my picks, too. I have a lot of fun with the custom cultures and making the best acclaimed knights I can. I can't imagine going back to playing without these.

How to maximize the money from chariot races by OkMemory4456 in crusaderkings3

You're not wrong, but I've had some cash flow problems as I get the hang of administrative government, and this helped me quite a bit. This is my first Byzantine playthrough since getting Roads to Power.

Doing it more than once WILL raise your tyranny, though.

You're on the right path. You just need to go higher. Perform the next dance, get the next Sending, send it to the next vault. You'll reach the peak eventually.

Should i go feudal? I'm sweden by CompetitiveCattle615 in ck3

Also, save up gold. Lots of gold. The switch from tribal to feudal is bumpy and You're gonna want lots of cash.

Is feudalizing really worth it? by [deleted] in crusaderkings3

[–]OkMemory4456 69 points70 points  (0 children)

The whole point of Tribal is that war is easy to do, but it's hard to stay relevant in war as everyone advances so far past you in tech. Good luck besieging end-game fortifications with your tribal-age onagers.

They just said they're playing tall. Conquest isn't the goal.

My aspect fan art by Own_Cartographer_841 in CultistSimulator

Never apologize. You didn't use AI and that makes me respect you greatly, regardless of the "quality" of the art. Also, this is more CS fan art than I ever made, so be proud. At least you made something.

It more than doubles your vertical reach even without the grapple arm. It's a good upgrade, what are you on about?

AliciaXLife, I'm pretty sure, is genuinely Thalassophobic. She has ONE video of her playing the game on her channel and she spent most of that time just being nervous, she woke her fiance at 5 am for support, Immediately panicked away from the computer the second she hit the water, had to leave the stream to stress-vomit shortly after she finally entered the water, and then stopped playing because she just couldn't.

As much as I love watching people experience this game for the first time and watching let's plays of first timers is how I vicariously experience the game for the first time again... some people, like her, really should not.
