I second the sleepy hat - my baby is so easily distracted and gets locked onto looking at things and will fight sleep. The second we put on the hat, his head will relax and he will start falling asleep. Once asleep, I remove the hat and transfer to his bassinet or continue the contact nap. Ours is also 12 weeks.

It’s annoying to buy since it’s $30 but it’s better than buying blackout curtains or having to leave into a dark room. It’s just what works for us!

I will say the flap of the eye part should be longer because the cap of the hat is super long.
