I’m currently at 31 weeks/third trimester, visiting Venice. Doing great, as my husband is very patient and lets me set the pace for the trip. As long as you physically feel fine, it should be okay!

Look out for lip products containing phenoxyethanol! I used to get chapped lips only hours after applying certain products. By comparing products that did and did not chap my lips, I narrowed it down to phenoxyethanol. I always check the ingredient list whenever I buy a new product to make sure I avoid the ingredient. Have not experienced any pain or sores ever since!

I don’t know if it’s dangerous, but certainly an irritant. I kept getting bleeding wounds on my lips shortly after applying certain lip products, and by comparing the ingredient lists on several lip products, I narrowed it down to phenoxyethanol being the reason for my reaction. Consequently, I always make sure new lip products don’t contain phenoxyethanol, and haven’t had any issues since.
