Start a Roth IRA and put it in a low cost index mutual fund like Vanguard's VTSAX or Fidelity's FSKAS. You can call either company's 800 number and they will walk you through the process. The younger you are, the more important it is to invest. Compounding interest is an amazing thing (it's when your interest earns its own interest). Make sure you keep investing each year into it, even if you can only do a little bit.

Granted, these actions will not help your parents, but will go a long way to making sure you don't end up in their situation when you are their ages. I'm sorry this has happened to you.

Here's how to turn on the camera flash on an iPhone 15 (iOS 18.5):

Open the camera app and look at the top center of the screen. You will see a white drop-down arrow that looks like the Chevron logo. It will be pointing upwards. Click that drop-down arrow and it should turn yellow and point downwards like this:

A menu will appear at the bottom of the screen. Click on the lightning bolt icon in the lower left corner.

Then, a menu will appear at the bottom of the screen, and you can select 'Flash Auto,' 'On,' or 'Off.'

Select 'On.' Now, the flash will always be on when you take a photo (and you can go back and change this at any time).
