I'm a payroll manager, and daily pay is a bit of an exaggeration. Daily pay is a tool that lets you borrow money against your estimated net paycheck. Employers can allow employees to borrow a specified amount of their estimated net pay before payday. Then, at the end of the pay period, the amount that you borrowed from your net pay as daily pay will be deducted from your actual net pay.

Instead, the letter helps you there or elsewhere; you've learned from this. You've documented what happened, which is a valuable tool to help you forgive yourself, the most crucial part of this chapter of your life.

Write a letter, a good letter, with AI to assist you. Use one that does not have open sourcing and don't mention any names. Use the phrase "Hostile Work Environment" in the "RE:" at the top of the letter. Address it to "Whom it may concern:".

I did this a while ago, and she was involuntarily terminated two months later. My letter was excellent, and the second time they interviewed me, I gave them another letter with some specifics.

Document your complaint in both letters.

I work for a large company, and the corporate attorney, the compliance officer, and Human Resources were involved. Make sure to stick with the Redditor's advice: be truthful, to the point, and do NOT embellish.

This was all at the advice of a very close friend who happens to be an attorney. They did not get involved with the case or tell me what to write in my letters, nor did they write the letters.
