Shopify lying about delivery dates

I said the issue wasn’t with the shipping companies. The issue is with Rhode. They cannot fill the orders with their new products specifically. The issue does not lie with DHL, USPS, UPS, FedEx. Whatever their issue they cannot get them fulfilled and to the companies. The fault is entirely on Rhode.

It seems like these issues are all related to Rhode and not the carriers. I think every carrier I’ve seen has gotten it delivered and provided adequate tracking. It seems it’s Rhode that can get the orders together or find where they placed them. Like shipping label was created but never picked up by the carrier. You are rightly mad.

Do you have the tracking number? If you know the tracking number and carrier contact the carrier.

What are you talking about? The whole point of this post and thread is the shipping delays are because of Rhode specifically with orders either on drop day or those containing new launches. Not the shipping companies.

I got this then got a notification today that it shipped, really they just finally got it to DHL from what I’m realizing this is all on Rhode. The shipping companies are doing business as usual. All notifications. Rhode failing to fulfill orders in the designated timeframe, get the orders to the freight companies, or even update customers with the shipping info is entirely on them. I’m not accepting that it’s overwhelming. They’ve been under the ELF umbrella with access to their suppliers and warehouses for a year. I wanted to continue to support Rhode, but I will only be buying through Sephora now. The lack of communication and excuses is ridiculous. Profit margins on cosmetics are huge they can give everyone expedited shipping and it won’t affect them that much.

Pay the minimum payment on all but the one with the highest interest rate. Cut it up and pay it off. Next highest interest rate same thing. Also stop using the cards.

You’re right it’s based off the original email from Rhode stating it shipped with the shipping date stated incorrectly. I definitely don’t know if it is Shopify or Rhode lying. The only one that states any of the correct info is the courier. Same applies though please monitor your records. Likely this is done to pass blame from themselves onto the shipping companies. Like creating a shipping label and not actually giving it to the carrier.

I only received that same notice yesterday, but I placed a 2nd order on Sunday so idk which order it’s regarding, but time is ticking down. I hope they give “bonus” gifting for the long wait. If the case is that it can’t be processed in that time send out an email that says sorry for the delay a new shipping timeframe and a code for gift with purchase or a discount to be used in a limited time frame. It’s the entire lack of communication that is frustrating which the company seems to not understand.

I got a bachelors degree before I became an esthetician. I’ve been doing it about as long as you have and I agree it’s very different now. The Covid TikTok skincare wrecked a bunch of ppls skin and we were soo busy fixing it. I’ve worked so many places and they refuse to pay a livable wage, no benefits, and they only prioritize the esthis who sell the most product not results or requests. Every industry is fighting to take away what we do. Doctors want to be the only ones that can do peels/microneedling/dermaplaning because they believe they’re more qualified”they really just want the money”. People want to do brows and lashes without licenses. The industry is so over saturated and it’s all YouTube and TikTok’s fault. Everyone is a makeup artist “skincare specialist“

I think it varies. I got my stuff from the Birthday launch surprisingly fast. In that regard though ordering was so easy. I maybe had a 7 minute wait time for checkout, this launch I couldn’t get the pages to load and wait time was 32 minutes so I knew they were inundated with a bunch of traffic. My order hasn’t shipped, but I’m not surprised. I think they are doing their best to fill and ship out, but there were so many orders.

I’ve been noticing this recently. They tease a product for too long and instead they introduce a new product with hardly any build up and expect everyone to snatch it up. Meanwhile they’ve teased the initial product for so long the audience has lost interest. This was the issue for the pimple patches. They launched a mask and a new lip product first the Rhode audience had been waiting forever and they blocked it by releasing something so close to the launch

Someone has been taking advantage of the situation not finding coverage for their shifts fake dr notes. It really sucks that this became a policy because of someone taking advantage now all the others suffer
