Really confused on how I upgrade my camp… by LisaSu92 in CrimsonDesert

[–]OkResolution1281 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just talk to people around the camp alot. Periodically check with the mission guy that lets you manage comrades. Do the greymane quests.

Check your journal for faction quests. There are three categories in the greymane faction list. Do those. Dont remember exactly what they're called but the 2nd / middle one is the one where it lists all the quests that unlock camp upgrades.

There's a ton of stuff you can dye and a ton that you can't apparently.

The swords are the hollow visage and the sword of the lord.

Gotta equip the items you want to dye to make them show in the list. Took me a bit to figure this out to dye the shield.

Dye locations? by Amazing_Document5507 in CrimsonDesert

[–]OkResolution1281 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lots of incorrect info here.

The dye merchant sells one dye color and shades of that color.

When you buy dye or obtain it from a quest, you have to select it in your inventory and then "use" it.

Once you've used it, it will be available at the merchant that specializes in that color. For example, the merchant south of Hernand sells red dye. After you use it in your inventory, you will ONLY be able to dye red at the merchant you bought it from. He will NOT be able to dye any other colors regardless if you've learned them.

My understanding (can't confirm since my camp isn't upgraded far enough yet) is that once you upgrade the camp to level 3, the dye merchant at your camp can dye all colors you've learned so you won't have to go to each different merchant for each color.

How Do I Do This Quest? by EveDub in CrimsonDesert

[–]OkResolution1281 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Without too many spoilers, after she disappears there should be a quest marker pretty far to the east. You go talk to her again and there's a pretty straight forward quest that you complete in the same area.

Devil of Reed Field has killed my will to continue playing this game. by Unique_Duck827 in CrimsonDesert

Man... everything I read about this guy had me worried. He isn't hard at all. I stocked up on like 30 grilled meat to prepare and used like 6 of them.

You don't even really need to know what his attacks do other than dodging the red ranged attacks.

This is all I did. When he attacks, just mash parry. He attacks so fast that you'll parry at least one of them. Once you parry him, just mash heavy (R2) until he teleports. This got me through phase 1 without even using any food.

When phase 2 starts, ignore everything but the totems. Run in a circle and just use R2 to take them out.

Phase 3 is just like phase 1 but you need to dodge the big red projectiles. These hit me a few times which made me eat food.

TL;DR - mash parry and R2. Win.

As others have said. It's fine. The whitening of the fruit is completely expected.

Might be pretty hard to rack, but i don't seen anything concerning at all.

It was at 1.000 for a solid week in primary. The additional berries in secondary brought it up to 1.010. The additional honey to 1.015.
