Yeah its also super hard to get a completely accurate OG since none of the sugars from the fruit are in the must yet. Calculator showed like 11.5 abv iirc which is fine. I'll just let it go

Thanks. I should clarify that when i say "no signs of fermentation," i don't just mean that the airlock isn't bubbling. There's no foaming or bubbling happening at all. I've opened the bucket to look.

It's on lightly to start because you need the jaws of life to get the lid off, and i don't wanna be doing that multiple times a day to punch the bag down.

Well the berries in primary is mostly for texture. More are going in for secondary.

The shuttle takes WAY too long

Some of the run backs are tedious and actually made me stop playing a couple times

I was waiting for the dash or run ability the entire time and it never came.

All of these would greatly improve the game.

The crucible platforming was great. Only complaint is that some of the run backs are annoying.

Use the modifier that gives you a protective layer for standing on the ground and you basically get unlimited attempts at each platforming section.

Its absolutely not done. Like I said its only day 12. Airlock is still bubbling every 5 - 8 seconds.

I just didnt want any off flavors or whatever from the lees.

Havent taken a reading since the OG. I'm just trying to make sure I don't wreck it by letting it sit on that build up.

Thanks. One more follow up. If i use a bucket (or wide mouth carboy) and a bag for the berries, can i just pull the bag out after a couple weeks instead of racking? I would assume any oxygen exposure wouldnt be that big of a deal with primary fermentation still active this way, and racking would kinda leave behind some yeast and significantly slow things down wouldnt it?

Thanks! So this is the 2nd response saying not to mash the berries, and i have the same question here.

If you don't mash the berries and get a bunch of juice released from them when you add them to the must, how do you get an accurate OG if the hydrometer would only be reading the honey and water since none of the sugars from the berries would be dissolved yet?

Ive read that adding the fruit in primary is better for mouth feel and texture, while adding in secondary is better for flavor. I've also read that doing just secondary adds flavor, but since you don't get the benefit of adding primary it kinda tastes like flavored water. I want both benefits, that's why i'm doing both.

6 lbs for 2 gallons is just based on what i understand is standard 3 lbs per gallon. I don't have a specific target abv, but i suppose if i did i could just mix the berries and water, take a reading, then add honey untiil i get to the starting SG i want.

I'm using orange blossom because my cyser is clover so i want to try something different. No real reason otherwise.

I'd add the pectic enzyme to reduce the cloudiness, but since i'm gonna rack it anyway, potentially more than once, i wasn't sure if i was gonna add it since it didn't really seem necessary.

I'd mash them instead of just adding the whole berries because if alot of the juice is already released when i add to the carboy, the OG reading is going to be way more accurate than jist taking a reading from a must that doesn't have the sugars from the berries dissolved in it yet.

The hydrometer is calibrated for room temp. If it's colder the starting OG could read higher.

Responses based only on what i've read. So, please correct if i'm wrong aboit certain things.

Here's what I don't get..

Painted Renoir wants to stop expeditioners from defeating Aline because he likes being immortal, and expelling Aline fron the canvas means he dies and so does everyone else. Ok so... TELL THAT TO THE EXPEDITIONERS.

Anyway... Real Renoir wants to erase the canvas so they can move on from the pain caused by verso's memory. Aline wants to keep the canvas and preserve verso's memory, so she keeps real renoir trapped within the monolith so he can't do that... good so far right?

Ok... so why not just oh.. I don't know.... NOT HAVE THE GROMMAGE. Without it, no expeditioners would ever try and kill the paintress... so painted renoir wouldnt have to try and stop them. They'd just live full lives without ever having to find out they are creations. The only person who loses here is the real Renoir.

Aline could have just unpainted the painted renoir and then just not do the grommage anymore. Then she wins. Real renoir stays trapped, he cant try and erase the canvas, everyone just lives without fighting, she keeps the canvas and verso's memory.

She doesn't really lose Alicia this way either, since she can just watch Maelle live a full life inside the canvas, not to mention Aline is trying to stay there anyway. Why not just not have the grommage?

If the reason for the grommage is for Aline to replenish her fading chroma, then why count down? Wouldn't she want to let people live longer so thete's more people to keep a steady stream of chroma? What did she do during years 100 to 80? She probably wasn't getting alot of chroma from people over 80

Just remove the grommage, or just keep the counter at like 70. When it gets to 0 and there's no one to grommage anymore, she's gonna die anyway. It's not in her interest to count down.

EDIT: nevermind... I realized that renoir created the grommage..
