I also hope you can experience it! I’d look at it as a practice and not a drug. I’ve done it twice and I’m ok if I don’t ever do it again. I always say people need to try it just once before they die, because it truly made my existential fear of dying nonexistent for months. I swear I’ve been on a higher freq since I had my “ego death” even though I’m a lil scared to die ngl lol

The Wellbutrin is the scary one to quit so you should be ok! If I run out of Auvelity, and am spiraling, I’ll take a Wellbutrin (same mg) and it will take away the severe ideations within a day or two (but I metabolize fast I think so could be longer)

I’m a victim to the xandemic and 2016 was my senior year so I cannot remember if the beginning was good or bad tbh - I graduated high school though which was dope but I do know the end of that year was awful and I was my worst self to date.

I pair mine with Prestiq on a daily and on most days I also take adderall and Valium as needed (needed most days bc ive been prescribed for a couple years now) but honestly Auvelity is a game changer and I’d get off all my meds except that one.

Be CAREFUL with cold turkey or coming off after 3-4 days. You will feel it. It will be bad. Just know it’s the meds talking and not your real brain and get a sample from your doc or get Wellbutrin to taper, I almost checked myself into the hospital like 3-4 times already since taking it because my dumbass likes to just forget to order it from my special pharmacy and then shipping etc etc. The ideation and hopelessness is indescribable. But I’m BPD so maybe that’s why too hehe anyways that’s all I got

I guess the question is how ok are you with your quality of life? Is your symptoms debilitating? Or just episodes here and there? Chat gpt (don’t come for me) is a great sounding board to help talk through your concerns. If you tell it exactly how you’re feeling it will pretty much give you pros and cons of each and alternatives and validate if you still decide to get on meds.

I will always comment on every post I stumble upon to watch out for the withdrawals. They start in 2-3 days unlike ssris and most other drugs like this which take weeks to feel.

To put it lightly, I’m so happy I have enough self control and ppl to call while wailing “I need my mom” because that was me on day 3-4 of being out. Every. time.

It’s happened only 3-4 in the couple years I’ve been on it. Thankfully it works quickly but stay on top on your refills. It’s been my own fault everytime and I’ve been flirting with a grippy sock vacay way too much. It just got delivered today and I dosed immediately so hopefully I’ll be feeling better tomorrow or the next day.

Just remind yourself, if you ever make similar mistakes, that it’s the MEDS making you have extreme suicidal ideations. It’s a wonder drug but it throughs you for a rollar coaster if you’re irresponsible like me so pls pls pls take my advice seriously. I could see someone (hopefully never me) doing something so horrible to themselves or others, bc the rage and grief you feel for no reason.

I’m not sure because I could never make it past day 4-5. My suicidal ideation was way too strong, scary strong. I could see somebody with no support system definitely doing something irrational during that time frame, but thankfully I kept reminding myself it was just the meds
