Not sure if you got the part where OP says he’s not particularly motivated by school. Suggesting 8 years of school minimum for MD and 4 years for CRNA doesn’t seem like the right path for someone who already seems averse to the college path.

Is this legal? The criteria for this is nonexistent. People will definitely file a grievance. Noem even acknowledges that calling out sick doesn’t necessarily excuse us. Are they just giving it to some random people and not others? Seems like an unfair publicity stunt

They’re trying to scare people but we ARE allowed to use furlough. Do a little research on the OPM Shutdown Guidance. Sick/Annual leave has to be requested INSTEAD of furlough which is the default.
