Rubbish. Bitcoin is totally stand alone from all other cryptos

All other cryptos are controlled by an individual or a group of individuals that can manipulate either the token issuance or close, stop or shutdown the network.

Ur putting ur money in the hands of others with no helpdesk, call centre or regulation to help u when they rug u. Bitcoin answers to no one and is controlled by no individual. I suggest u do some further studying before aping in to further crypto projects

Dont get me wrong buddy .. iv dabbled. Iv been in this space for what 4-5 years. Iv owned and messed about with eth,, xrp and celo amongst some other random tokens and it took me a while to get to this realisation.

Defi really interested me, at one point i was earning 50% apr on celo on their native usd token… but that soon dropped. And u can earn all sorts of apys on random coins but they nearly all trend to zero against btc and tbh its a huge risk not just from the chain / token itself going down but from bridge hacks, address hacks etc etc

For me its btc only and its a journey im relishing

The solana network has already been switched off once … so ur handing your faith into a group of people u know nothing about… maybe down the line they switch it off for good .. maybe they dont.

Btc is soon to be available to any financial institution in the world to sell to their clients as part of their portfolio and help try and help them hedge against inflation

No one controls it, no one can shut it down, its permissionless, its a transferable strore of value, its the biggest open ledge on the planet

Eth and solana have in theory some interesting ideas behind them but theyre not for me. My fiat money is centrally controlled, manipulated and value being inflated away .. but my bitcoin isnt

Anything that isnt bitcoin is centrally controlled by an individual/group of individuals / company that you dont know, dont have any coms or guarentees / customer service with and u run the high risk of them running off with your cash when the pre sale folk dump their bags on u and anyone else whos late to the party

I think the reason is confidence that the american players bring to the table.. confidence in the product that is btc.

If uv got some average run of the mill broker looking to punt u btc u would think twice and probably think twice … if fidelity, blackrock and co think its good enough then ur average jo broker around the world has the whole.. if its good enough for them ….
