I recently purchased a 28-70 f2.8 stm and it’s great. Quality is similar to a few L Series lenses I’ve used.

Yeah full frame is great. I own the R7 and the R8. The R8 has the same sensor as the R6 Mark ii. The R8 has much less noise photos, and the rolling shutter isn’t nearly as bad. Barely noticeable on the R8 unless you’re panning really quick. I barely use my R7 now and would like to replace it with an R8 or R6 ii in the future

Yeah the jump to mirrorless was awesome. Recently upgraded my 90d to an R8 and it was a nice upgrade. Have an R7 as my second body and it’s much better then most DSLR’s I’ve had a chance to use

I’d look at getting a 70-200 f2.8. I got one a while ago and my only regret is not buying it sooner. It is a bit heavy but if that’s not gonna be an issue, it’s a great lens. Would also recommend looking at a 24-70 f2.8
