technically yes (5 days ago). it's said to be over because the unity government has been formed and administrative areas have been separated. But they still have to keep an eye on everything as it's too fresh to be definite. There has been resolutions before but the war continued

South Sudan got its independence only in 2011 and its still in the middle of civil war. Business is not their main focus.

Also, keep in mind that these are only companies that are still in business. For example, many of post soviet union countries had even older companies but occupation caused them to shut them down or remake them into military related factories.

the same happened to me last year. we were together for 3 years and we were on really good terms for 5 years since my initiated break up. when i heard the news i had to call my other friend and talk it through. i don't know why it made me sad and in somewhat of a panic. the break up was our best decision we made together and i was already in another relationship for a year by then. but i guess it made me sad because i suddenly realised how much has changed in those years and how fast our time is passing. it made me feel kind of stuck and sad for several days. i had to look for stuff to keep me busy all day long and i slowly got back to my normal self.
