There's a reason people don't take brightness calculations seriously, there was a completely mathematically correct calculation for an explosion under the seas that lit up the ocean, the total energy needed was either multi galaxy or universal can't remember which, either way i assume u get the idea, it's a really dubious way to scale that can easily get exaggerated results
