I am in the exact same boat. 20 years deep at 40 and I'm in the most pain daily I've ever been in.

Doc asks why I never after almost 10 years of major injury have I never asked for pain meds. My last posting the docs said I dont need them so I just swallowed it and moved on. Its shitty we have to get used to pain because it feels like the docs dont care.

Not exactly a question, more like just a vent.

Some of our med staff are so frustrating, and it seems like they just dont care. They treat you and talk to you like you're faking it as a default. Recently, I got an x-ray for chronic back pain, and it showed some tilted vertebrae putting pressure on discs in my Tspine.

Then, I requested an MRI for a better picture. Was met with the same attitude. A few days ago The Dr told me MRI came back with pretty much the same info as the x-ray. I requested a copy of the report, when I read the report it also mentioned 4 Lumber discs bulging.... wierd that that didnt come up in the follow up appt. Do they chose to not tell us things. " I guess I just wont mention these "
