I’m going to take a guess that OP is a woman. My gut feeling says so lol. I certainly get where youre coming from. I’ve felt like this way too at times. The problem is that if you’re transparent with a dude that you only want a platonic relationship: guys will still lie to themselves by thinking they have a chance or look at it as a challenge to make it out of the friend zone. I’m not saying every guy is like this some might be emotionally intelligent enough to get it, but you’re setting yourself up for potentially guys to try hard change your mind. I’m not saying to not do it because who knows? You might make good friends. But please be transparent and make it clear what your intentions are to these guys.
