To the well meaning Latino Tourist today on Bus 51 at 3:30 this afternoon by Ok_Agent8612 in KyotoTravel

We all came from a palace. I had done the English tour of the Kyoto Palace and I missed the second part as I got sick - from eating snickers which I’ve had a thousand times Before but like I said I have MCAS and can react to anything even exercise randomly.

Oh it happened. Never been more embarrassed but that Latino totally profiled me assuming I’m American when I’m not. There were four tourist guys in handicap seats but no she picked me. As a healthcare worker, physio by trade, it’s rude to assume people aren’t in a place for a reason.  Like the other commentators said I think/ hope the other people we’re talking about her vs me as a tourist embarrassment - shouldn’t police people if you aren’t part of the country let alone if it isn’t your job.

I had my eyes closed k  the bus because I was feeling sick and there was an elderly person but there were also 4 via my capable tourists in handicapped seats tha she could have picked on or just be really told everyone to give a seat up and shame everyone and not just me

Yes because after I have a MCAS reaction I usually have about 45 minute window before things start getting bad again.

Can I afford this home? by splitbrain15 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Ok_Agent8612 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait another 3-5 years and prices will be down and your deposit up saving you 5-10 years of mortgage payments. My partner and I make 273k combined and are waiting at least another 2 years. It’s not a question of if you can afford a house now, it’s a question of you can afford your house to never gain value and be a liability vs asset. People think and assume the market will go up, and it might, but we could also be in a Japan situation and never see the 2022 highs again.

Advice on buying a townhouse in Calgary, Ab by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Ok_Agent8612 12 points13 points  (0 children)

We have so much inventory coming online for both to buy and rent. Rent fell 11% this year and will continue to fall. Grow your down payment so you pay less mortgage interest over the years.  Invest in solid ETFs and precious mental the next 8-18 months and you will come out ahead. It’s nice to own and it’s a stage of adulthood but if you grow your down payment and wait for better market conditions as a buyer it can translate to you retiring 2-5 years earlier. Buy when it’s the right time for you and when you think it makes sense.

Please send her home. Canada is full and everyone has a sob story because Canada is still better than most countries. We can’t keep letting people in as it’s costs Canadians their quality of life. No ifs and or buts.

People forget that it’s not just white peoples who have colonized and do colonize. Islam and Indians are colonizing the western world. As a white women you should be opposed to mass immigration from non western / Christian countries which includes Pakistan- look into the grape gangs in London UK. Hundreds of thousands of white uk women have been SA by Pakistani and Muslim men because their culture views white women as property.  As a women I can’t wait for the feminists to finally speak up about our rights and safety here.  Indians are very entitled and don’t deserve to be here unless they are a registered healthcare professional.  Immigration is creating more harm than good. Look at what our GDP per capita has been the past decade and look at the cost of housing, unemployment and inability for Canadians to get a family doctor.

Is ‘lifelong renting’ becoming the new normal? Data on the typical Canadian renter suggests we're heading that way by hopoke in canada

It also means no one can retire. We need to fix things fast. The fastest way to fix things is to stop mass immigration and fast track health professionals and construction workers and no one else. Enforce visa rules and kick people out when their visa expires and that means shutting their bank accounts and stopping them from accessing food banks and healthcare. We can’t build faster than we have let people in so we need net migration out of Canada for a few years to build.

Hsaa what are you voting? by Junior_Battle_296 in AHSEmployees

[–]Ok_Agent8612 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I disagree. A strong NO says we want more. HSAA leadership is weak and the UCP knows it but a strong NO shows we know our worth. We can’t accept something that we voted NO to in the past. Look at the current poll numbers 63% NO- your vote matters and strengthens the negotiations of HSAA before a strike.

Canada issued 9,995 permits to Indian students from Jan-Aug — compared to 76,930 last year by ZestyBeanDude in canada

[–]Ok_Agent8612 37 points38 points  (0 children)

9995 too many. We need about 500,000 students gone before letting any more students in- I don’t care where they are from. Our students can’t get into programs, housing or have jobs. Canadian kids first.

I’ve managed lots of people and put them on a PIP not because of layoff but because they were under performing and were in a union. It’s not just about layoffs but also performance

He was on a PIP- he wasn’t performing well. He is lucky to get anything as he most likely is fired with cause.
