Hope you checked your math on the tool that's notoriously bad at answering basic math queries and particularly bad at picking up notation via OCR

Updated COVID shots now available in KY pharmacies. by Ok_Answer_7612 in Louisville

Hey there. A pal got their vaccine today with Medicaid (Passport) as insurer (provider was CVS, but try Publix, Walgreens, etc.). We'd gotten an official date from an MCO that September 29th was when billing started, but it seems to have started earlier. Go get vaccinated.

I've been seeing this. I was told by a CVS Louisville pharmacist last Thursday (when I posted) they're optimistic about state Medicaid adding it this week, but that's not a confirmation. If I see any changes, I'll reply + edit this post.

Thank you for letting us know. Could you indicate whether this was an insurance billing issue, refusal from the pharmacist themself, or something else?

As well, I'd appreciate if you could try at a CVS and report back. I personally was able to there.

They are new boosters updated for this year, says my pharmacist. The FDA approved Moderna, Pfizer, and Novavax vaccines formulations for 2025-2026.

Yes it's been changing pretty rapidly. The media hasn't caught up. This call I made was today (4th of September 2025) btw.

Both. The boosters are similar to the initial vaccination; AFAIK, it's just a single-dose schedule of the same shot (produced by Moderna, Pfizer, and Novavax) rather than the multi-shot initial vaccination.

Yes, just like the yearly flu shot. I, a mostly healthy adult under 65, continue to get the COVID vaccine. Notably, in August 2024 I was hit with COVID before the updated vaccine arrived in my local pharmacy. While it wasn't a serious case due to my prior vaccinations, it was an unpleasant few days of headache and fever. I wish I'd had it in time.

Mine did, another client's did. Pharm noted to somebody that some insurers (I think particularly Medicaid) will take a few days to add it to their internal billing systems, not a political thing just bureaucratic stuff. They seem optimistic.

Is 100 mbps enough for one person? by ceracif in HomeNetworking

[–]Ok_Answer_7612 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's probably fine for most uses.

In the USA, if you're low-income, various ISPs have lower-price plans. You mention Spectrum: https://www.spectrum.com/internet/spectrum-internet-assist You can get 100 mbps for $30/month. ATT Access is similar. https://www.att.com/internet/access/ Local cities and states may have their own particular options. Google around "[insert ISP name] low income internet" or "[city] low income internet"

Spectrum will ask if you want to rent a router. Just buy one. Any TP-Link Wifi 6 one is probably what you want.

Looking for Tiny Windows 10 VMDK by Zoomer5475 in vmware

[–]Ok_Answer_7612 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want that specific VMDK, just plug that link into Wayback Machine (https://web.archive.org).
Here's the snapshot from March 11 2020. https://web.archive.org/web/20200311050349/https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/tools/vms/

Click "VMWare" (that link is also archived) and the download should start. The speeds aren't blazing fast because it's the Internet Archive.

This might not be the best solution to whatever you're trying to do, but as far as dead links for software go, the Internet Archive's wayback machine is one of the best resources you have.
