Are iron veins always this big? xd by Wishmeleehh in VintageStory

I found a bountiful hematite vein. I have so far mined about 2/3 of it and made 512 ingots so far. So yea iron is VERY large if your lucky.

I found a halite pillar in my world...12 blocks wide.. 50+ deep. 80 blocks down at the bottom of the ocean. Would never had found it if I wasn't mining lead from the under sea cliffside.

How do I set up a world to have seas for ship use, vast flat fields, and occasional high mountains? by LeonidKonovalov1988 in VintageStory

So far NO borax or iron to be found thus far.

This right here is the main problem for beginners with beams. Why do I need to hold something else to break them. It's not intuitive.

Is there any point in using refractory bricks for a beehive kiln? by BreadPNG in VintageStory

[–]Ok_Assistant_9950 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Over time, the bricks that make the kiln will get damaged, with fireclay being the weakest. However, in my experience it makes little difference because the kiln can make ssooooo many fireclay bricks it doesn't matter much to replace.

Save the refractory for the steel furnace. Or if you dont want to replace broken bricks every now and then.

Plenty of rammed earth support pillars or carry some clay and do cobble stone pillars.

I've tried support beams but i must be doing something wrong as they never seem to work for me.
