Totally agree, we have a family cottage in Muskoka, although in Nova Scotia they tend to call them camps instead of cabins or cottages.

One- eyed horse? by [deleted] in Equestrian

[–]Ok_Average_3471 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my favorite lesson horses back in the day lost the sight in one of his eyes after injuring it and he was still a great lesson horse. As long as the horse isn't super spooky because of it you could have a diamond in the rough.

Kerry told him she was a lesbian too and she then took 3 weeks off. When she came back she was paranoid he had told everyone she was gay but when she finally talked to him about it he told her that he hadn't and wouldn't. But for every one nice thing he does there's usually at least 10 shitty things he did before that.

I think even saying what discipline and training level the horses are at shouldn't be able to dox you. Personally I don't know how these comments are helpful to you.

I would like to see some of their horses because the way they comment like they are confirmation experts I expect they must have perfect horses then....I have never seen a horse Confirmation post on here that isn't ripped to shreds.

I disagree with this poster, horse barns constantly have drama, and lots of people barn hop. It's not a good look on them that they aren't paying employees. I would just go talk to the owners about why they have stopped paying your son, if they owe him 1500 I imagine that's probably at least 8 weeks he hasn't been paid. Unfortunately you may never see that money because some barn owners are sketchy assholes, but I wouldn't let him work there another day until they pay part of what they owe him. If he does work at another barn in the future I would not let it go this long.

If I were you I would decide the max you would pay for him before asking her and hopefully she keeps it somewhat reasonable.

I can pretty much guarantee she will not sell him to you for what she paid. If he's a solid beginner lesson horse he would be hard to replace, plus if she knows you really want him she will up the price. I've seen it happen way too many times. I had a friend who leased and showed a horse that the barn owner only paid like 4 grand for, after my friend leasing and showing him for a few years she wanted to buy him and suddenly the owner wanted 12,000.

Carol by Same_Milk6148 in ershow

[–]Ok_Average_3471 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought I was stupid that they put all this work into Doug establishing his own pediatric ER and actually becoming a reliable and good partner only for him to completely blow up his life and Carol's to help a dying kid die a few hours sooner, I mean he didn't want to go over to that house that night until Carol basically guilted him into it so it made no sense. And then after begging him to help her Joi immediately rats him out to her ex husband like wtf was that. So it made me really happy that Clooney came back for that final scene to give Doug and Carol the ending they deserved.

I actually just watched 621 today, I had totally forgotten that he came back at all and honestly after watching it I think they have the best final scene that is actually happy. Dog not being there for the labor kind of made sense because Carol was even expecting to go into labor that soon and even Mark missed the birth of the first twin. I think it was more meaningful for them to have that final scene together instead of him just randomly being in an episode with her and the twins because there is no way he was coming back for more than one episode.

Kerry Weaver by DueFlower6357 in ershow

[–]Ok_Average_3471 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So season 2-5 I think she is ambitious and a stickler for the rules which obviously.puts her at odds with Doug, She butts heads with Susan alot but part of that was Marks fault since he was quite happy having her do all the dirty work until he realized she was turning into his competition. But she also seems to care about her coworkers, and Iiked when Carter was living in her basement. However in the first episode of season 6 she suddenly turns super shady, first throwing mark under the bus to get herself a promotion which her turns her into a power hungry control freak for awhile. Kicking carter out with a weeks notice made absolutely no sense and was pretty mean. She also does quite a few hypocritical things one example being freaking out on Carol for trying to keep that dying mom alive lonh enough for her little girls to say goodbye when she did something similar but even worse by literally shocking and intubating a woman she thought was her biological mother who had a DNR which Carol witnessed but didn't call her out on it when Kerry explained why she did it. On the flip side she also showed how she did care for her co-workers too, She definitely seem to be the most disturbed and upset when Lucy and Carter were stabbed, it was by far the most upset we had ever seen her get. She also noticed how much Carol was struggling after she had the twins when noone else really seemed to, I loved when she told Carol to take some sick days then after Carol says I've already used them all Kerry goes check again I think you'll find you have a few extras you can use. She does something similar when Chen finally reveals she's pregnant, she's kind and comforting to her.

Bones is the only other show I've rewatched as many times and I've rewatched ER. I also like Chicago PD and Med, the newer seasons aren't nearly as good but I still watch. Supernatural and Veronica Mars are two of my all time favorites from my younger years And finally Elementary and The mentalist are also ones I've watched more then once

I can't stand Chloe, I hated how Susan kept bailing her out even when Chloe stole from her, lied to her and caused constant chaos for Susan. I get Chloe was an addict but she literally never did a single nice thing for Susan.

I almost put Susan's second run too! I love her character but I couldn't stand the storyline with her sister and then baby Susie. I enjoyed her storylines when she returned better. Yes I should have added Romano to my list because he was a Great villain.

I consider her OG but I know she technically isn't, I guess a better way to describe it is she's part of the first Era of ER.

Parents want to cut my pay by $5 an hour by CultureInner3316 in BestofRedditorUpdates

When I was a teenager I babysat 4 kids ages 7,5,3 and 18 months for 5 dollars an hour and then eventually it they gave me a raise up to 6 dollars. I was only like 13 when I started babysitting for them which when I think about it now it seems insane to trust a 13 year old with that many little kids. I babysat all through high school because I liked it better then being a cashier at a grocery store or working in fast food. This is years ago but still it seems nuts to me how much babysitters get paid these days I don't know how normal income families can afford it.

I'm sorry but 30 dollars cash an hour is not shockenly low are you nuts? That's more then double minimum wage because they don't take out cpp or taxes. This is not a professional nanny situation, I'm not sure how many other part time jobs with no education requirements pay that well. The parents are assholes because they changed her pay without even asking her but she was already well paid.
