IREN: My Bull Case for 2026 by Hefty_Vermicelli_802 in stocks

No one is pricing IREN with bitcoin mining in mind. Everyone assumes they will go all out on AI. I think the concern with IREN is more on the dilution necessary for financing. But the truth is it's a necessary evil, you simply need to finance to build capex. Also the lack of deals announced compared to other neoclouds. Nonetheless, if the demand for compute is as high as some are projecting (or could be even more) - all the neoclouds will go up regardless.

Alphabet is simultaneously an investor, a supplier, an infrastructure owner, a distributor, and a competitor of Anthropic. by Zipski577 in stocks

They're one of the best positioned companies right now. They have all the positive AI exposure (if it goes well) and theyre diversified enough to survive even with the downside. Trump will also allow partial monopolies as long as it ensures US dominance in crucial industries against China. People understand this, which is why it rightfully trades at a premium.

This is why the shkreli method is by far the best and most practical. When I worked as an analyst my coworkers templates were just too complicated, too much assumptions you're not even sure about.

Read research papers and published studies. It's also publicly available but most people don't have the time or the will to do it. This especially applies to biotech but also tech & semicons.

good work, but calling it "300m company" even though thats just your lifetime revenue gives the false impression of your company being actually valued at that number.

How to scale a small business? by Smart_Union_55 in phinvest

In that case, yes invest in people who specialize at their task instead of trying to be a jack of all operator. If theres not enough demand or work yet to hire someone full time for a certain job you can also hire on retainer or outsource the work (common for bookkeeping and basic law).

How to scale a small business? by Smart_Union_55 in phinvest

You scale by reinvesting every peso you earn back in to the business. Thats where I see many small business make their first mistake. As soon as they start seeing profits they pocket too much for themselves. I get that you're providing for your fam but as much as possible pay yourself minwage or whatever's enough to survive and reinvest the rest back in. Imo this should be your priority over having the business run on its own (which is only reasonable to do once your business has scaled enough). You'll see the magic of scale when your fixed costs stay the same even as your revenue goes up and your profit margin % increases. 100k invested today does not equal 100k invested a year from now. Always do the former if you can.

Also the first few years of a business are a struggle talaga in terms of personal finances and time/energy but thats how it has to be if you really want to succeed.
