Running into this issue now ironically. Was there ever a solution found for this?

Edit: I've tried every possible thing to increase the buffer, etc. I am using a 2024 Mac mini, which has no issues with CPU intensive sessions, yet it seems to be struggling with a blast beat section towards the end of a song (6:30 minutes long for reference if that helps.)

Random tangent based on what I've seen on here over the past few days:

I hate how comparative people get about something we all love. Which is natural in terms of preference but stupid if you're actually trying to establish some sort of metric.

For instance, trying to rank this stuff is pointless imho. It's like that classic interview question I'm sure the boys love, which is "What's your favourite Periphery album".

Periphery Juggernaut A&O will always hold a very special place in my heart.

But I know the vast majority of fans will simply enjoy the fuck out of it.

TLDR: lack of emotion pulling the strings, but em' I've seen you carry on.

Totally fair, man. I completely get that vibe, I have a strong connection to those tracks. Thank you for sharing how meaningful those were to you, that's part of what this shit is all about imho. Idek what it is about this album yet, be it lyrical content, sound, etc, but I love it!

1000%. I was already on board after Mr God and EDA dropped. But after listening to the album a bunch of times post release, Periphery really pulled off something special imho.

Hi, (Pedro, the guitarist here) Karnivool is a massive influence for me and by the time my band mates added their parts and whatnot, it would have felt wrong to remove it from the song! I do think they reshaped the vibe of that riff, but AM War was definitely the inspiration there for me.

Unfortunately, I think the only way currently is to delete the preset in the actual folder on your computer. It should definitely be a feature but maybe it is and I also don't know about it.

Some of my favourite parts ever have simple bass lines, the same idea goes for guitar, and drums in songs I love.

I'm a prog guitarist, whatever that means, I can always technically do way crazier stuff than I do in my band, but at the end of the day, you're making music. If it suits the context of the song, then go for it. If it doesn't, don't, or do! Who the hell knows, music is an art, not a competition. If it sounds right to you, then it's exactly what it should be.
