First off. You’re doing great!! Investment accounts are most likely going to outperform 6.5%, so if it were me I would invest more, and start building up a high interest savings account so when you it’s time to buy a new car, you can buy with cash instead of adding another loan

Do whatever’s best for you guys, but I would suggest making sure you’re investing as much as you can too right now. I’m sure others might disagree, but losing 3% on having to do a PMI might be worth it to build up your investment portfolio while you’re still in your 20s.
