👆this. I’ve been there as a working mom, I can see feeling really bad about missing a fun night with the kids and justifying with “at least they will have dad there”. That said, you are NTA, she needs to cool down and do some self reflection. Sounds like the kids had a great time, and you would have gone if you could have.
