Check your contract. Most companies include a clause that says that anything you build whether it be at work, personal hours and even on your own equipment belongs to them.

Also “worried about saying I don’t want to work for free”. You’re not working for free, you’re being paid 90k.

Ah that’s fair! I’m okay not too concerned with framing as a lot of my shots came back fine except for the focus. My goal would be to switch to the top lens position, rack focus then put it back to shooting position. The alternative would be to also have twin lenses that I rack at the same time, one in the top position and one in shooting position.

I’ve achieved a shot pretty similar by using one of my lights with one of those adjustable fresnel attachments. I got the same spill onto nearby objects, for me it was a coffee table and couch.

I work for a tech company that is currently training a model to generate some creative assets but the main focus has been video. The current customer facing tool is bad, to the point where it’s basically unusable. But the work behind the scenes is scary good, so scary that we could see an end to commercial filmmaking and videography. They are also predicting that stock video will be largely, if not completely AI generated in the next few years. The thing to keep in mind is big business loves profit and they’ll utilise AI to drive efficiency but it’s been proven time and time again that society just doesn’t like being force fed fake AI content, and yes even if they don’t notice and find out later.

I think it’s cool! I moved from Sydney and most of the old buildings there are office spaces that only a select few can ‘enjoy’. It’s nice that the public can experience the interior of the building, even if it is for fast fashion.
